As RedState reported on Monday, Democrat candidates for public office are putting lies out there that are so egregious that even Democrat-compliant mainstream media are calling them out.
For example, Abdul El-Sayed, who is the leading candidate in the Michigan Senate primary race, is finding that out the hard way, with CNN of all places publishing a report detailing how he indeed has repeatedly called for defunding the police despite what he's said during the course of his Senate campaign, which we wrote about here. When they interviewed him about it, El-Sayed played word games and complained they were "fixated" on the word "defund" rather than the supposed larger message.
El-Sayed was also miffed when another media friendly, former MSDNC host, Mehdi Hasan, repeatedly questioned him on why he called himself a physician when he wasn't one. Again, the agitated candidate played word games, stating that "At the end of the day, it’s not about whether or not I’m a physician or a doctor."

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is another one who likes to deceive people with his choice of words and his denials of things that clearly happened. Though he is not up for reelection this year, he admitted in April that he is considering a run for president in 2028, which is why the answers Gallego gave Hasan in his own recent interview with him are especially important to document.
In this clip, Gallego let the mask slip, point blank telling Hasan that we need to do away with ICE but that calling to abolish ICE is electorally risky, so they had to try and convince voters by framing it in other ways:
GALLEGO: ICE cannot exist anymore, not in the way you see it right now.

Q: But you don’t want to say abolish ICE because it sends a bad message?
GALLEGO: Yeah, I want to win elections.
Q: But you are calling for the abolition of ICE and replacing it?
GALLEGO: Yeah. pic.twitter.com/Otp2RiHgh6
In another clip, Gallego was questioned about his (now former?) bestie, disgraced former Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-14), and if it was really possible he didn't know about Swalwell's sleazy, allegedly criminal behavior despite their longtime friendship and well-documented bromance.
Gallego tried to weasel out of it by pivoting to how the Senate Ethics Committee had dismissed a misconduct complaint against himself that was referred by GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13) and which involved allegations of campaign finance violations and sexual misconduct. Gallego claimed the committee said there was "absolutely no 'there' there."
But what they said was more nuanced than that. They dismissed the complaint due to lack of evidence. They also pointed out in the letter, however, that they reserve the right to revisit the complaint should new information come to light in the future, which is entirely possible considering the higher office he may be seeking. Further, Gallego left out that the DOJ has launched its own probe into the campaign finance violation allegations.

He clearly didn't want to talk about Swalwell despite Hasan pressing him on the subject, simply saying that you never knew someone 100 percent:
Q: You were a longtime friend of Eric Swalwell, did you have any idea of what was going on?
— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) July 13, 2026
GALLEGO: No, it's an unfortunate situation that’s being exploited.
Q: How could you not know?
GALLEGO: You don't know everybody 100% pic.twitter.com/Yf2dWLFH1o
So, for those keeping score at home, Gallego openly admitted during an interview that it's perfectly okay to deliberately deceive and lie to voters about important issues to win elections while, in the same breath, he continued to deny knowing anything about his former roommate and bestie's alleged darker side. Think about it.
Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
