As we've often said here, when Democrats tell us who they really are, we should believe them, and that has certainly been the case this election cycle, with America-hating socialists winning their primary races in hopes of expanding the Mamdani wing of the party in Congress.
That was also the case in the aftermath of the September 2025 assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, 31, during an event at Utah Valley University. After the news broke, we saw radical leftists, including educators, medical professionals, and elected officials, openly and unapologetically express glee over the conservative icon's murder, with some even suggesting that Kirk's killing shouldn't be the last.
Here we are, some ten months later, and the preliminary hearing is underway in a Provo, Utah courtroom for his accused assassin, Tyler Robinson. As RedState reported earlier, Kirk's wife, Erika, has been in attendance alongside other family members, facing Robinson for the first time in an incredible show of strength and resilience, knowing there would be things said that would be deeply painful to hear.

Now, we know that most leftists despised Charlie Kirk when he was still alive, and that obviously didn't change after he was killed. But one would think that with the preliminary hearing now in progress and the judge having to view some gruesome footage, maybe a little grace could be extended to the Kirk family this week.
But that's not how pro-Hamas, anti-American Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed's campaign saw it, as evidenced by this tweet sent out bashing his opponent, Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11), for having the decency to support the congressional resolution honoring Charlie Kirk's legacy and condemning his assassination:

Understandably, this did not go over well with folks, some of whom had some inconvenient reminders for El-Sayed:
Abdul El-Sayed's campaign is condemning Haley Stevens for paying tribute to Charlie Kirk. This would be the same Abdul El-Sayed who engaged in sympathy with constituents over the death of...Ayatollah Khameini. https://t.co/8x98JBay6O

El-Sayed is friends with Hasan Piker of "America deserved 9/11" fame, and has a bunch of other pro-Hamas pals.

Far worse, obviously, than Stevens voting with 94 other Dems to condemn Charlie Kirk's assassination. https://t.co/dwQXGI3qTd
Nastiest post on X today.

What a sick person Abdul is.@shoesonplease @libsoftiktok https://t.co/vdV1Q1UfJz
.@AbdulElSayed in Michigan is launching attacks on a rival for voting to honor someone that his political fellow-traveler murdered.
— Blake Neff (@BlakeSNeff) July 10, 2026
Vile beyond belief. https://t.co/2wLeKohg9R
So @AbdulElSayed ‘s campaign is attacking a political rival for a resolution that simply condemned political violence.
— AG (@AGHamilton29) July 10, 2026
How do you read this as anything other than expressing support for such violence?
Obviously wouldn’t be a surprise at this point. https://t.co/pgQdhAwXQX
And the tweet of the day:
One of the problems with progressivism is that basic humanity that moderate @HaleyforMI has here is a foreign concept to them.
— Sarcastic Cupcake (@SarcasticCupcak) July 9, 2026
Progressives may be economic populists but deep down, they are filthy communists and for that Republicans must crush them. https://t.co/BSa0uHbTZL
Indeed. Remember in November.
