On Thursday, RedState's Brandon Morse noted in a piece he wrote on how "Islam Is the New Transgenderism" that Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) was seen in a recent video wearing a hijab while talking up the supposed greatness of Islam.
"I can't think of a more perfect representation than this video. You have AOC, a Latina Democrat from New York, wearing a hijab, in front of the communist Islamic Mayor of New York," he wrote.
For those who missed the video, watch:

The Bronx event AOC and Mayor Zohran Mamdani appeared at on Wednesday was, as CNN described it, designed "to celebrate the start of Eid al-Adha (the Muslim religious holiday that honors the importance of unwavering faith, submission, and charity)." With a heavy emphasis on "submission," no doubt.
Though the video is short, it tells us quite a bit. You see AOC with a slightly bashful, girlish look on her face while addressing the crowd, as the Muslim men talk behind her and ignore her. Meanwhile, Mamdani stoically looks on. But the longer clips from the event tell us a whole lot more, and make all of it - and Democrats in particular like AOC, who coddle Islam while accusing Republicans of a "war on women" - look so much worse.

Folks on X had questions after watching the following clip, which shows not a single woman in the crowd nor on the stage where AOC was speaking:
Why weren’t there any women or diversity in the audience @AOC spoke to? I don’t see a single woman seated in that huge crowd. pic.twitter.com/pKoxu8ghNQ

I don't see any women other than AOC in these pictures shared by Mamdani, either:

Today as we honor Prophet Ibrahim, Eid al-Adha reminds us that sacrifice is not a burden. It is an opportunity to see ourselves as part of something larger. To extend a hand to those who need it most.

Notice something else? In the shorter clip, the men in the background were talking as she was speaking. In the second one, we hear much louder talking over her as though she's not even there at an event that, again, is supposed to celebrate and honor Islam.
As you watch those clips, keep in mind some of the things AOC has previously declared about Republican men, like what she said during an October 2025 CNN town hall where she appeared alongside her Democrat Socialist mentor, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT):
Now, to the question earlier as well, when they talk about Republicans and their success online, they have been successful because they have also been very clear, especially digitally, about what they believe, that women are inferior that do not -- and they do not deserve equal rights, that they believe that LGBTQ Americans are subhuman, that they believe and are circulating disgusting racial and white supremacist messaging that they are able to get away with digitally and online.
And they are able to radicalize and target and exploit a generation of young boys, in particular, away from healthy masculinity and into an insecure masculinity that requires the domination of others who are poorer, browner, darker, or a different gender than them.
And yet just a few sentences later, she told on herself during that same town hall when she reverted to talking about "standing in solidarity" regarding respect for different cultures - the very ones that you, know, actually do subjugate women:
And so, in order for us to fight back against that, we must be clear about what we believe, have strong beliefs, and also be completely unwilling to bow to that kind of division and stand in solidarity with one another, especially when it is someone whose culture is different from ours or whose background we may not entirely understand, but that we honor, love and see as our fellow Americans
In the video, you see how into the message she actually was, perhaps not realizing that she was contradicting herself (which is pretty common for leftists):

In a speech AOC gave around that same time in support of then-mayoral nominee Mamdani, whose pro-Hamas wife we hardly ever see for some reason, AOC proclaimed it's not Democrats who are the crazy ones:
"But we must remember in times such as this, we are not the crazy ones, New York City! We are not the outlandish ones, New York City! They want us to think we are crazy. We are sane!"
Newsflash, AOC. This... is not sane:

I think that just about says it all.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
