An image that will stick with many people long after the Minnesota day care fraud scandal has faded from the national spotlight will be that of the "Quality Learing Center" sign, which, of course, was supposed to read "Quality Learning Center" but something obviously got lost in the shuffle.

As RedState previously reported, the son of the owner of this particular location, which is on 1411 Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis, told the New York Post this week that it was the graphic designer's fault the sign had the incorrect spelling, but that the owners of the so-called learning center apparently didn't think it was that big of a deal that the sign touting the alleged educational facility was missing a letter.

“What I understand is [the owners] dealt with a graphic designer. He did it incorrectly. I guess they didn’t think it was a big issue,” Ibrahim Ali said, according to the Post's write-up. Though it's unclear how long the sign has been up at this location.

In an update to this story, though the federal investigation into the alleged fraud is still ongoing, one thing that has been resolved at last is the spelling of "learing," which has now been changed to "learning":

Live and lear.

The infamous misspelled sign outside the Quality “Learing” Center in Minneapolis has finally been corrected a day after The Post stopped by to investigate fraud allegations against day care centers in the city.

A hastily applied sticker was spotted Tuesday morning, restoring the name of the alleged day care facility to “Quality Learning Center” as originally intended.

Here's a video of the sign with the sticker on it:

Obviously, the much bigger issue here is the alleged fraud at the day care centers and the extent of it, how much it allegedly cost taxpayers, who knew what and when, etc.

But the correction made on the sign did not stop Nick Shirley, the independent journalist who first broke the news about the day care centers, from having some fun with it:

Sadly, there was also this:

Good grief. Talk about adding insult to injury.
