It's been quite an eventful day for President Donald Trump, with his press conference with the South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, understandably taking center stage.

As RedState reported, one of the ways Trump greeted Ramaphosa, who was there for trade talks, was to share a nearly three-minute video clip of South African leaders calling for the deaths of white farmers and the confiscation of their lands, even as the mainstream media here has disgustingly downplayed the genocide that is taking place in the country and has sought to portray Trump as a racist hypocrite for supposedly favoring "white refugees" over "refugees of color."

Further, Trump dunked an NBC News reporter who not only tried to sidetrack the presser with questions about the Qatari jet, but who also attempted to make the skin color of the South African refugees the United States has recently taken in an issue in classic liberally-biased media fashion.

But as dunks go, Trump was surrounded by a lot of guys who literally could do just that during another event that took place at the White House later in the day.

It was the Florida Gators men's basketball team who were the latest sports team to be honored at the Trump-Vance White House, which was celebrating their national championship victory from the NCAA finals tournament game back in April, where they defeated the Houston Cougars 65-63.

Surrounded by Republican members of Congress who were from Florida as well as Department of Justice Attorney Gen. Pam Bondi, who used to be Florida's AG, Trump was totally in his element and just as cool as a cucumber, pretty remarkable considering the wild turn his meeting with Ramaphosa took and the tense moments that ensued just a few hours earlier.

In the below clip, we see Trump greeting the Gators' coach, Todd Golden, saying he'd heard "a lot of great things" about him while quipping he wished he could be Golden's agent:

In this one, he talked about some of the team's accomplishments and joked about how one of their star players had "good hair":

In this one, Trump recalled a conversation he had with his 19-year-old son, Barron Trump, about his height and how Barron told him he really wasn't that tall in comparison to basketball players:

Perhaps the coolest clip, though, was from the speech Coach Golden gave, where he said he thought of the school's basketball program like Trump thought of the country, where you work hard for everything you earn in life, no matter how you look, no matter your background in what sounded a bit like a really nice recruitment message:

"I like to think of our program similarly to how you think of the United States. We're a MERITOCRACY. We work really, really hard — no matter what you look like, where you come from.

"If you put the team first and WIN, we're gonna play you!"

Clearly, fun was had by all:

Congrats, Gators (and Florida Gators fans!).
