As RedState reported earlier, the White House held the annual Easter Egg Roll event on Monday, and, as expected, the holiday decorations were fabulous, festive, and colorful. The kids who attended appeared to have a blast, as did President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, judging by the photos and videos of them interacting with the crowd.
"Easter is special, and it's one of our favorite days. It's one of our favorite periods of time," Trump remarked during the gathering, where tens of thousands were expected to be in attendance on what turned out to be a beautiful spring day in the nation's capital.
"We're honoring Jesus Christ. We're bringing religion back in America. We're bringing a lot of things back, but religion is coming back to America. That's why you see the kind of numbers that you see," he also said.

Something that was particularly noticeable to many, as we also noted, was the stark difference between how Trump mingled with the crowd in comparison to how former President Joe Biden did:

The bizarre handler Easter Bunny incident from the 2022 White House Easter Egg Roll was something Trump clearly had in mind while he chatted with onlookers, even referencing the infamous moment at one point, which prompted a cute reaction from Mrs. Trump and the bunny, too:

It's really interesting when you think about it. Joe Biden is out there giving speeches about being a one-term president and complaining about his arch-nemesis, while Trump, meanwhile, is out there living his best life after accomplishing something Biden couldn't: Get elected to a second term in office.
