The Kennedy family hates Donald Trump and despises one of their own, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in his third-party quest to be the next president.

So who is left for them to support in the presidential race? President Joe Biden, who they formally endorsed Thursday during an event where several members of the Kennedy family were present, and where Biden also spoke.

Speaking at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center in Philadelphia, RFK Jr.'s sister Kerry Kennedy did not mention her brother but expressed the family's belief that only Trump or Biden could win in November.  She also suggested that Donald Trump would have "horrified" her father and former U.S. attorney general, Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968 in the middle of his Senate term and presidential run :

“I can only imagine how Donald Trump’s outrageous lies and behavior would have horrified my father, Robert F. Kennedy, who proudly served as attorney general of the United States and honored his pledge to uphold the law and protect the country,” Kerry Kennedy will say in her endorsement, according to excerpts provided by the Biden campaign.

During an interview on Good Morning America prior to the speech, Kerry Kennedy talked about how Biden "shares my family’s values":

“He is an extraordinary leader. He cares deeply. He shares my family’s values. We need every single person to go and vote for Joe Biden. If everyone who can vote goes out and votes, Joe Biden wins. And that’s what we’re here to do today,” she added.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but considering their deeply sordid personal and political history, the so-called "Camelot" Kennedy family are the very last people on this planet who should be preaching about "values" and being "horrified" over "lies."

The list of Kennedy family scandals, corruption, and grotesque malfeasance is longer than Santa's naughty list, so here's a brief rundown of the highlight (lowlight) reel:

There was Rosemary Kennedy's lobotomy, the murder trial for Michael Skakel in the Martha Moxley case, President John F. Kennedy's numerous affairs (not to mention affairs other Kennedy men had), the infamous Chappaquiddick incident in 1969 where Sen. Ted Kennedy left Mary Jo Kopechne to die, Ted Kennedy's sexual mauling of a helpless waitress in the mid-80s along with Sen. Chris Dodd in what has been referred to as the "waitress sandwich," the mafia connections, and more.

I could go on and on but I think the point has been made. As far as I'm concerned, the Kennedy family's endorsements should make anyone hearing them want to run as far away as they can from the person they've endorsed, especially when they describe that candidate as someone who "shares" their "values." Gross.
