CNN 'Reporter' Gets a Rude Awakening After Scorchingly Bad Hot Take on GOP Over MTG

It’s no secret that you can tune in to CNN on any given day or check out the Twitter feeds of some of their “reporters” and be subjected to some ridiculously stupid hot takes.

But some weeks are definitely worse than others, and I can safely say that this week has been one of those “worse weeks.”

For instance, there was Jake Tapper pretending to be a tough guy with embattled NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo (brother of CNN anchor Chris Cuomo) after he and his network spent months coddling the “Luv Guv” in the midst of his epic pandemic failures. Then there was their media hall monitor Brian Stelter trying and failing to give Newsmax a lecture on how to do journalism. And then there was CNN PR flack Matt Dornic, who committed a hilarious self-own after trying to shame a Fox News reporter for a sourcing tactic numerous other reporters including former CNNers admitted to.

Not to be outdone, CNN White House correspondent John Harwood threw his hat into the ring with this scorchingly bad hot take on Republicans tonight after the Democrat-controlled House voted tonight to strip freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of her committee assignments:

Excuse the language here but – AYFKM? Has this dude ever heard of The Squad? Hello?

Also, we can’t forget about Rep. Mad Maxine Waters:

There’s also Rep. Eric “Honeypot” Swalwell:

This guy had quite possibly the best response:

Anytime I read anything from Harwood, I keep in mind that this guy isn’t just suspected of being liberally biased. He quite literally is liberally biased, and he proved it after he was caught crossing the line back in 2015 from being a supposedly neutral reporter to an arm of Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign:

The following question was asked on Sept. 21, 2015, via email, to the chairman of a major presidential campaign, John Podesta: “What should I ask Jeb?”

At the time, Jeb Bush was still a leading candidate to challenge Hillary Clinton for the White House — and had more money behind him.

The question didn’t come from a campaign surrogate or an opinion host — it came from the chief Washington correspondent at CNBC, John Harwood. And just to make sure he hit Bush where the Clinton campaign — which still viewed the former Florida governor as its most likely opponent for 2016 — wanted him to most, Harwood went to Clinton’s campaign chief to do all the thinking for him.

And after Harwood hosted a Republican presidential primary debate in November 2015, he sent this email:

“I imagine that Obama feels some (sad) vindication at this demonstration of his years-long point about the opposition party veering off the rails,” Harwood wrote to Podesta afterward. “I certainly am feeling that way with respect to how I questioned Trump at our debate.”

There was plenty more where that came from, too:

Even knowing he’s a shill for Democrats (which I believe is a requirement for reporters at CNN), it’s really quite remarkable that Harwood makes it even more obvious by throwing comments out there like he did about there being no one in the Democratic party “remotely comparable” to Greene.

Then again, seeing how open CNN has been about operating as an unofficial state-run TV outlet for the Biden-Harris administration, I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised that Harwood isn’t trying to hide it anymore.
