Isn’t it just so typical of CNN to pretend they’re the arbiters of what “real journalism” is?
One America News Network has been covering the daily White House Coronavirus Task Force press briefings since the briefings first began, and the network has already come under fire from so-called “respectable” journalists after asking President Trump if it “alarmed” him that so many in the mainstream media appeared to be teaming up with China’s government in their propaganda offensive against Trump’s use of the term “Chinese virus” to describe the Wuhan coronavirus.
OANN was there for the Sunday press briefing, and CNN once again was not pleased.
First up, here’s a segment from a report CNN White House correspondent Jeremy Diamond did on the briefing in which he attacked both OANN and their reporter Jenn Pellegrino:
CNN’s @JDiamond1 attacks OAN reporter @JennPellegrino by calling her a “propagandist” from a “fringe outlet.” https://t.co/IcsGJAiBpF

CNN senior media reporter Oliver Darcy also chimed in with his .02:
To summarize: Amid a global pandemic killing thousands of Americans, Trump disparaged CNN, NYT, and PBS at his press conference, while saving his praise for a fringe cable channel that peddles right-wing conspiracy theories.

The same CNN where a panelist recently said the quiet part out loud about their left-wing political leanings actually had the audacity to call another news outlet a propaganda network? The same CNN that spouts off Chinese government propaganda as though it was the gospel truth? This from the hypocrites at CNN who can dish but not take?
Actor James Woods was not having it:
You work for the network that featured Michael Avenatti 59 times in two months, correct? #CNNFakeNews https://t.co/NQGYSe5Is4

Last year the media came down with a fever and the only cure was Michael Avenatti.

Next time Darcy and Diamond want to lecture any other news outlet of being a “fringe” network that promotes “propaganda”, they might want to have a mirror handy.
