As I wrote last week, the hot takes coming from Democrats and mainstream media types over the successful U.S. military strike against Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani in Iraq were fast and furious, and told us much about the people making them (and none of it good).

To recap, such takes unfortunately continued on throughout the weekend, with a notably disgusting one posted by “woke” former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. As Bonchie noted Saturday, Kaepernick took a moment from promoting his new $110 Nike shoe to blast so-called “American imperialism”, which he stated was used in order to “enforce its policing and plundering of the non white world”:

Kaepernick has made it clear over the last several years that when it comes to willful ignorance, few people can match him. But he outdid himself with the staggering ignorance of his tweets about the Soleimani strike, and when Sen. Lindsey Graham was asked about his comments on Sunday, the South Carolina Republican senator let him have it:

“Yeah, he’s a loser on and off the field. He has no idea what the Iranian regime has done to the region. He has no idea that they have 600 American deaths as a result of IEDs made in Iran, used in Iraq. It’s unAmerican.

He’s a racist. If you’re looking for racism in America, Mr. Kaepernick, look in the mirror. Your country’s not the problem. It’s the Iranians. And you’re so blinded by your hatred of Trump that you can’t see the difference between who we are and who the Ayatollah is. Pretty sad.”

In another interview done this weekend, Graham told Fox and Friends that Iran should seriously reconsider any retaliatory strikes they may have in mind:

Graham said that while the United States’ maximum pressure campaign against the Iranian regime has worked, what would “take it to the next level” would be to threaten to “destroy the ability of the Iranians to refine oil and sell it.”

In other words, Iran shouldn’t even think about it.

Kaepernick should probably consider laying low, too, but he won’t. America hating is his bread and butter now.
