Politically speaking, there are few things more satisfying for conservatives and Republicans these days than seeing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) being hoisted by her own petard.
GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA) and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (TX) are two Republicans who have done so with finesse over the last few weeks in response to her hysterical rantings about how border detention centers are the equivalent of Nazi concentration camps. Rep. Liz Cheney (WY) is another who hasn’t pulled any punches.
Perhaps no call out will have as sick a burn, however, as the one done earlier today by Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump. During an appearance on “Fox and Friends”, Conway discussed how Democrats including Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) were accusing Trump of staging a photo-op this week in his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
She segued from Schumer’s comments to Ocasio-Cortez’s dramatic Monday visit to the border, and noted that the freshman Congresswoman had the chance to put her money where her mouth was on humanitarian aid for the border crisis – but didn’t:
“I have a whole list here of anchors and people on TV and Democrats who said it was a manufactured crisis, who now dropped the word ‘manufactured,’ and are calling what they see at the border, a crisis,” she said.
“Chuck Schumer wants to talk about photo-ops? I saw one yesterday and it’s called, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, going down to one of these facilities and making this outrageous claim that a woman is drinking from a toilet — which everybody who has control over that facility … has said that is not true,” Conway continued.
She said when Ocasio-Cortez was challenged by a reporter on whether she actually saw someone drink from the toilet, “she put the window up” in her vehicle. [“Don’t let the air condition out. She put the window up.”]
“People need to challenge this because she’s one of 95 people, Democrats, who voted against the aid package. You either want the humanitarian aid, the $4.6 billion to go and help, or you want the photo-op.”

Needless to say, the temper-tantrum prone AOC was not happy with Conway’s statements, and tried to blast back on Twitter, but the only people buying what she’s selling at this point are the deluded who think she walks on water anyway:
How many migrant women has Kellyanne Conway touched? Hugged? Sat on a concrete floor with? Actually listened to?
The answer is none. Her actions show she doesn’t believe all human beings are worthy of basic dignity.
That‘s why she defends & muddies the clear and indefensible. https://t.co/NHMeI6Bx5r

Don’t go away mad, AOC. Just go away.
