The left are in full-blown outrage mode over the fetal heartbeat bills recently passed in both Georgia and Alabama, and a popular rallying cry among them is to point out how many pro-life men and women voted in favor of the legislation.
The Hill reports on what they’re saying about Alabama pro-life legislators:
The group of white, male Alabama state senators who voted to pass a law on Tuesday that bans nearly all abortions in the state, including in cases of rape and incest, are facing viral criticism online.
Late Tuesday, 25 out of the Alabama Senate’s 27 Republicans voted to pass the bill by a 25-6 margin. The legislation, called the Human Life Protection Act, would make abortion a crime punishable by 10 to 99 years in prison for doctors who perform the procedure, with exceptions only for cases to save a mother’s life.
Since the bill’s passage on Tuesday evening, a number of activists and Twitter users have come out against the measure, while also noting the gender and race of the Republicans who voted in favor of the bill.
Actress/activist Alyssa Milano was one such person:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D) daughter Christine was another:
Who decides the size and timing of your family: YOU or #25whiteguys? #Alabama Senators imposed a Trumpian abortion ban – with no exceptions for rape or incest – to degrade women and overturn Roe v Wade.

Human Rights Campaign comms director Charlotte Clymer, a transgender woman, was especially incensed:
Tonight, 25 out of 31 state senators in Alabama, all of them men, voted for an abortion ban that would literally force victims of rape and incest to carry a pregnancy to term.
To every so-called "progressive" who says we should try to reason with these people:
FUCK. YOU.

I am so confused and triggered by this. I thought a woman wasn’t supposed to be defined by her lady parts? I’ve also heard that the absence of a uterus is NOT an indicator of someone’s gender? I’ve also been told that we weren’t supposed to assume anyone’s gender … or race? So what gives?
In all seriousness, this line of attack from the pro-abortion left is just another example of their rank hypocrisy when it comes to displays of sexism. Any, and I mean ANY male who used the same line of attack against women would be branded a sexist pig who was engaging in outdated stereotypes about women.
This line of attack also assumes that the men who helped pass this legislation are doing it because they want to control women. The reality is that most of them sign on to this type of legislation because they care deeply about the unborn, just like pro-life women do. Many of them also have children and didn’t view their unborn children as a “clump of cells” or a “blob of tissue” but as a precious developing life.
This is the plain and honest truth, and no matter how often fanatical pro-abortion women wave the red patriarchy flag on this issue, that fact will never change.
