Despite His Best Efforts to Portray Himself as One, Fauci Is No Victim

During a hearing in the Senate on Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci was completely eviscerated by Senator Rand Paul.  Senator Paul has, for months, been highlighting the discrepancies between Fauci’s testimony and the record available to us, which details numerous grants and funding mechanisms that the NIH and NIAID used to fund then-banned gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.  In response, Fauci played victim, putting on a show about how threatened he feels as a result of the increased scrutiny he has received since being exposed as one of the biggest frauds in the storied history of our planet.

Fauci attempted to make himself out to be a victim in all this, somehow totally and completely immune from any investigations into his role in the funding of viral research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Instead of Fauci, the NIAID, and the NIH, throwing the doors of transparency wide open, they have done the opposite, rejecting and delaying requests for records regarding the EcoHealth Alliance grant, potentially responsible for the creation of SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes the COVID-19 infection.  However remote, the potential exists that Fauci is innocent of having a role in the creation of the virus.  Fauci’s behavior in the wake of the spread of COVID-19, however, has shown he is not interested in facts or science, but rather the control of a narrative.

Fauci’s claims to be the source and a “representative” of science simply points to the incredible delusion in which he lives. Fauci has been at the NIH longer than I have been alive and yet has accomplished nothing.  Fauci hasn’t slowed the spread of anything other than the truth and hasn’t inoculated or vaccinated anyone from anything other than critical thought.  He’s admitted to lying to the American people on many occasions, an act that should disqualify him from any role in response to the pandemic at all.  Instead, he makes some appeal to benevolence, suggesting his lies were necessary to protect us, from us.  Every single directive from the man has been contradicted by something he has said previously.  Whether it was masks, shutdowns, or vaccines, Fauci’s leadership has been marred by his continued contradictions, inaccuracies, and flat-out misinformation.

What is most frustrating about it all though, is that Fauci, the Left, and the Media have all unilaterally decided that Fauci is beyond reproach.  That somehow, despite the blatant lies which they refuse to acknowledge and all the damage done to our country by the ineffective approach to stemming COVID spread, we are denied the right to be angry about it.  While the left parades before the cameras talking about “voting rights” (remind me which adults in this country are denied the right to vote?) and “social justice,” justifying the violent actions of the left, they simultaneously seek to deny the right of their same frustration and anger regarding things like securing the vote and the right to medical freedom.

Fauci sits in a Senate hearing as a grown man… a professional and expert, whining about the treatment he has received in the wake of COVID, when he is the one that chose to take the spotlight, openly lie, and mislead, and put of a clinic of incompetence.  No one forced Fauci out there, in fact, at 81 years old, he could have retired at any point and made this someone else’s problem. Instead, he chose to make himself a media darling.

People within certain media, including yours truly, have pointed out that Fauci’s direction has failed us all, as now the US creeps up on 900,000 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, more than doubling the deaths from before their promoted “vaccine” (they should be legally prohibited from calling it that).  There have been multiple looks into Fauci’s lies about funding gain-of-function research, to which Fauci’s only response is that those claims are taken out of context.  Fauci pretends he can act as a private individual running a private company, refusing to answer questions and demanding privacy, despite him being the highest-paid federal employee and running a government agency.

There’s a lot to be angry about… more than any of us want to publicly admit.  I know my anger and frustration with Fauci began long before anything that Rand Paul said, and those same feelings have grown beyond anything that Rand Paul could have ever inspired.  Fauci and the media attempt to paint Fauci as a victim of a politicized hit, organized by the good Senator of Kentucky, himself a victim of violence inspired by the left and the media.  They want you to believe you’re not entitled to be angry or frustrated.  They demand your perpetual patience with a man who, absent any influence of any other person, has proven himself to be completely untrustworthy and among the greatest failures in US Government history. Yet again, you are denied of your anger. They’ll tell you your anger is unjustified and therefore wrong and misplaced.

Deep down, you know it isn’t.  Fauci is the beneficiary of his own legacy.  People across our country have realized that the trust they extended him, was misplaced.  That isn’t Rand Paul’s fault.  That’s Fauci’s fault.  He alone holds the responsibility for it. The calls to fire Fauci or even the demands for his arrest aren’t spun up by narratives from quasi-libertarian senators.  They are the wages of 24 months of lies. Fauci has earned, all by himself, every bit of vitriol that comes his way.

Let’s just hope that at some point, he’s held accountable for those actions.
