In a stunning new video making the rounds on Twitter, it looks as if the Kenosha shooter, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse of Illinois, was targeted with what could be a Molotov cocktail before the first shooting that took the life of one of the rioters.

Others on Twitter point to the potential that the alleged Molotov was simply just a plastic bag with some objects in it.

Either way, the discussion as to whether or not the shooter was attacked before the first shooting seems to be answered here. Prior to the shooting, the shooter was attempting to escape conflict before being rushed by the man he ended up fatally shooting.
There still seems to be some confusion as to whether or not the firearm used in the shooting was legally owned however at this time, Police do not have any further information regarding the firearm.
