Marine Corps vet turned Fox News host Joey Jones went straight at Zohran Mamdani (Communist) on Tuesday over a 9/11 post the New York City mayor wrote in 2023.

He called Mamdani a "coward."

The Muslim pol had written that nearly 3,000 New Yorkers died that day, but added “the death hasn’t stopped,” and that he also mourned “the hundreds of thousands who died in the wars that followed.”

Those people apparently just "died." Shades of Ilhan Omar's "some people did something" analysis of 9/11.

Jones, who lost both legs above the knee in Afghanistan in an IED blast that also severely wounded his arms and left his fellow Marine dead, did not view the post as an appropriate or accurate remembrance.

"What a coward," he replied. "They were murdered. And sleep well at night knowing I and thousands of my brothers did our part to even the f***ing score."

Jones, who served eight years in the Marine Corps and later became a motivational speaker, wasn't the only one on social media to take issue with Mamdani's reprehensible post.

"They were murdered. You are an ally of the people who murdered them," said "Justified" actor Nick Searcy.

"This is a disgraceful, disgusting sentiment that dishonors every person that died that day and every American at the time," another reader seethed.

One person replied, "It’s hard to think that the place that invented the term 'Never Forget' elected this tool as Mayor."

RedState has been actively covering the efforts by 9/11 families to keep Mamdani from attending 25th anniversary ceremonies at Ground Zero. It is insensitive and historically inaccurate comments like this that make people dread his presence on those sacred grounds.

A group of 9/11 families launched a petition saying the terrorist sympathizer has no place at the ceremony. The petition has very nearly 100,000 verified signatures.

Families behind the effort to block him say they’re alarmed by Mayor Mamdani’s track record — especially the praise he’s given Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

They also object to Mamdani's prior comments blaming the United States for radicalizing al-Qaeda propagandist Anwar al-Awlaki, his appointment of a chief counsel who previously defended an al-Qaeda terrorist, and his endorsement of candidates who have minimized 9/11.

Mamdani's presence at Ground Zero would be an undignified disgrace. Forcing the families of victims to see someone who downplays the murders and supports the terrorists even tangentially is disgusting.

Editor’s Note: New York City is now facing the consequences of Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist takeover.
