White House Blasts ‘Buffoon’ Hakeem Jeffries, Fires Off Staunch Defense of Stephen Miller

The White House fired back at House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) after the top Democrat branded senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller a "hateful bigot."

Jeffries, who one imagines looks in his mirror in the morning and sees some sort of combination between Barack Obama and Handsome Squidward, accused Miller of being a key architect behind what he describes as the "violence and brutality" coming from the Department of Homeland Security.

"Stephen Miller is one of the malignant architects of the violence and brutality DHS has unleashed on the American people," Jeffries wrote on X. "He slandered hero nurse Alex Pretti as a would-be assassin. Why is this hateful bigot still Donald Trump’s chief immigration adviser?"

While what happened to Pretti can be debated and will be investigated, the assertion that he was a "hero nurse" has been contradicted by multiple videos and reports of his unhinged, violent, and criminal behavior.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson responded to Jeffries' comments with another undeniable fact - the man is a "buffoon."

"Hakeem Jeffries is a buffoon who has repeatedly lied about and smeared federal law enforcement officers, including inciting violence against them by encouraging his supporters to ‘fight’ President Trump’s agenda ‘in the streets,'" she told Fox News Digital. "No one should take anything he says seriously."

Did Democrats Seriously Call the Capitol Police on Trump for Accusing Them of Sedition?

Not taking Jeffries seriously is something men and women of all political stripes can likely agree upon. If we're being honest. Missing from Jackson's fiery statement was another very recent buffoonish move by the top Democrat.

As RedState's Nick Arama reported Thursday, Hakeem threatened DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, saying he was "dead serious" that she "needs to be put on ice, permanently."

A buffoon, yes, but Jeffries knows exactly what he's doing by making comments like that. It's a dog whistle of violence to an army of other buffoons in Minneapolis and elsewhere.

Meanwhile, a senior official at DHS also provided a statement of defense for Miller's record on immigration enforcement. Miller, they said, "has been instrumental in delivering on the President’s agenda."

"At neck-breaking speed, President Trump has achieved the most secure border in American history — Stephen has been a lynchpin in those efforts," the official said, adding his "passion, patriotism, and persistence helps fuel this administration in our efforts to carry out the largest deportation of criminal illegal aliens in the history of our republic."

The White House standing shoulder to shoulder with Miller comes amid media-fueled rumors that he is "being sidelined" and "shut out" of meetings as the administration grapples with public perception of federal immigration enforcement.
