Vance Heads to MN in Show of ‘Unwavering Support’ for ICE, Defying Leftist Chaos Agents

Vice President JD Vance is heading to Minneapolis on Thursday, set to deliver a powerful message of "unwavering support" for ICE agents amid escalating tensions provoked by leftists trying to impede law enforcement from detaining criminals.

Vance, according to a release from the Office of the Vice President, plans to hold a roundtable with local leaders, meet directly with ICE personnel, and deliver remarks on restoring law and order in the City of Lakes.

Axios reports that, perhaps to the chagrin of those local leaders—some of whom, like Gov. Tim Walz (D) and Mayor Jacob Frey (D), themselves face subpoenas for allegedly interfering with federal operations—Vance is "not planning any peace offerings to Twin Cities officials and protesters opposed to the Trump administration's aggressive immigration enforcement tactics."

In fact, they note that he will emphasize the administration's "unwavering support" for ICE.

"JD took Minnesota on as an issue where he's going to lead. He wants a strong response," one adviser said, according to the outlet. "He doesn't want to back down. Neither does the president."

There's no reason to back down. If anything, they need to up the surge.

Vance Torches Media Propaganda After Explosive ICE Shooting Video Drops: 'All-Time Shameless Moment'

Vance's strong move comes as protests continue to rage, fueled by leftist chaos agents and their blatant obstruction in the Twin Cities. They've been emboldened even further following the fatal shooting of protester Renee Good, who struck an ICE agent with her vehicle.

Videos like this are becoming increasingly commonplace.

Tear gas and green smoke were deployed as clashes erupted in Minneapolis, where CBP and Bovino used pepper spray and detained anti-ICE protesters during an additional stop at a Speedway gas station.

The Vice President voiced strong support for the ICE agent involved in the Good altercation and heavily criticized the media for their slanted coverage of what actually happened.

"If you want to say this woman's death is a tragedy, that we should pray for her soul as Christians and Americans, then I agree with you," he said. "But the media dishonesty about this officer is an all-time moment in shameless press propaganda."

It's unclear which local leaders Vance will meet with when he arrives on Thursday, though Axios reports that the administration "has been in private communication with officials in Walz's government and major state-based businesses."

Will Walz himself be there? One can only hope so. Vance recently torched the governor as "a guy who has enabled fraud, and maybe participated in it," while mocking his lack of ability as "some sort of freedom fighter."

Following the meeting, Vance will deliver a speech where he will reportedly be flanked by ICE agents and "point out how Minneapolis' sanctuary city policies have degraded public safety and endangered ICE officers," according to a White House official.

"He will also celebrate the essential work ICE agents have done to take dangerous, criminal illegal aliens off of America's streets."

That's what it comes down to, really. Democrats haven't found a criminal or illegal alien they're not willing to stand up for. They're the bad guys in this situation. Good on Vance to show "unwavering support" for the good guys.
