Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre revived Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" insult in criticizing her successor, Karoline Leavitt, on Tuesday. It didn't work out very well when Leavitt fired off a scathing rebuke in response.
Jean-Pierre, speaking to the panel on "The View" as she continues touring the country in an attempt to promote her new book, "Independent," took umbrage with Leavitt describing the Democrat party's primary constituency as "made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals."
"It's deplorable," she said. "I'm using that word on purpose. Because they don't seem to understand—this is the Trump White House—that they don't work for just one man. They work for the American people."
Karine went on to take a jab at Leavitt for her epic three-word response to a smug reporter from the Huffington Post, who wanted to know who chose the meeting location for peace negotiations between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Your Mom did," the White House press secretary replied.
"The White House press secretary is not about doing online trolling," Jean-Pierre lectured. "It is not. It is an honor and a privilege to have that job and to speak on behalf of the most powerful person in the world."

Karine Jean-Pierre Slams Democrats, and Surprise, She's Selling a Book
You would have thought KJP would have known better than to engage. You simply cannot show up to an intellectual gunfight armed with a potato peeler.
Yet, here we are.
Leavitt, in an interview with Fox News personality Jesse Watters, took the opportunity to respond to her predecessor. And she absolutely unloaded, pointing out that Jean-Pierre is bitter, lied to the American people daily, and reminded viewers that the former press secretary was one of the principal entities behind the cover-up of President Joe Biden's cognitive decline and eventual usurpation by an autopen.
“With all due respect to my predecessor, she is one of the main culprits of the greatest cover-up and scandals in American history,” Leavitt fired back. “She took the podium every day and lied to the press about the incompetence of her boss. And on this book tour, she continues to lie.”
She then leveled KJP with the realization that she is little more than a "bitter" has-been trying to hawk her new book instead of coming clean about her role in a scandal-ridden administration.
“I’m very proud to work for the greatest president in history. I know Karine unfortunately worked for the most incompetent president in history. So I guess she has a reason to be bitter," Leavitt said. "But being bitter will not sell your books.”

You know what else isn't going to sell books? Spending the entirety of Biden's presidency deceiving the American people, and then, instead of revealing the long-awaited truth, continuing the deception.
Pierre stood at that podium nearly every day for years and told the public that Biden was not only competent but sharp enough to run circles around her and his staff.
“And I believe, for me—you’re asking me my personal opinion—he is sharp,” she previously insisted. “He is on top of things.”
He was neither sharp nor on top of things.
But Karine refuses to acknowledge that, writing in her new book, "I was technically a part of the president's inner circle and saw Biden every day and saw no such decline."
People who saw him for only about five minutes a day on television noticed it, but somehow that revelation eluded her for about four straight years.
Karine Jean-Pierre, whose lone credential for holding the job in the first place was her skin color, gender, and sexual orientation, has lied to the people for so long that she can't even stop to help sell her book.
