Tulsi Gabbard believes former FBI Director James Comey knew exactly what he was doing by issuing an "86 47" threat against President Trump and that he belongs "behind bars."
As RedState has reported, Comey issued a thinly veiled call to violence against the President when he posted a picture of a seashell arrangement reading "86 47," claiming to have stumbled upon the display during his walk on the beach.
The "86" portion of the message means to "get rid of," though some believe it means to remove a person through violent means. Comey has denied knowledge of the nefarious meaning, which seems far-fetched for the former head of the FBI. Additionally, this was already a very public debate in 2020 when Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer had an "86 45" display on her desk.
He knew what he was doing.

Gabbard went scorched earth on Comey during an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters earlier this evening, saying his social media post was a "veiled call to action to murder the sitting president of the United States."
The former Democrat congresswoman stressed the importance of taking the comments seriously, especially with the context of two assassination attempts against President Trump in the past year.
"The dangerousness of this, Jesse, cannot be underestimated," she said.

Trump's DNI proceeded to make a very serious declaration during the interview, indicating Comey should be in prison over the threat.
She mentioned that the Secret Service is investigating, while RedState Managing Editor Jennifer Van Laar reported that current FBI Director Kash Patel has voiced support for the investigation.
"There has to be accountability for this," Gabbard said, citing a recent study showing the left is increasingly embracing an "assassination culture" that suggests there is justification for violence against their political opponents.
"Do you believe Comey should be in jail?" Watters asked.
Gabbard replied, "I do."
"I'm very concerned for the president's life," she continued. "We've already seen assassination attempts."
"I'm very concerned for his life, and James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this."

Some are going to defend Comey, saying a phrase about 'getting rid' of the President doesn't point to any specific violence. It could mean impeachment. Resignation.
But when the Director of National Intelligence believes strongly that this was a criminal threat on Trump's life, it certainly is going to turn some heads.
Comey's call to action must be taken seriously when the left, at a 55 percent clip according to the study above, think the outright murder of the President is justified to some degree.
