Tim Walz Reveals Hilarious Manly Reason Kamala Chose Him As His Running Mate, and No Wonder They Lost

Former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz suggests he was chosen to join Kamala Harris' campaign because he could serve as a mediator for manly men who want to switch to the Democratic party.

Seriously.

The man derisively referred to by critics as "Tampon Tim" spoke at a forum on Monday night at Harvard Kennedy School, explaining that he was supposed to serve as a "code talker" for white guys who enjoy sports and trucks.

Yes, that Tim Walz.

Walz said he would argue that his inclusion on the failed ticket was "because we did a lot of amazing progressive things in Minnesota that improved people's lives."

"But I also was on the ticket, quite honestly, you know, because I could code talk to white guys watching football, fixing their truck ... that I could put them at ease," he added.

Tim Walz Thinks Republicans Are Scared of His Masculinity, and He's Right... for All the Wrong Reasons

Walz went on to disclose that he was viewed as "the permission structure" for white guys who watch football and fix trucks to feel it was okay to vote for the party of men playing in women's sports, the party of endless pride parades, and the party of they/them pronouns.

That is truly remarkable. If Harris and her team viewed Walz as the conduit between masculinity and the "White Dudes for Harris" estrogen club, then man, is it any wonder they lost so badly?

I'm not sure where Walz got the idea that he was the man amongst men the Democratic party needed, but somebody needs to hit pause on his showtunes playlist and conduct an intervention.

It's not the Minnesota governor's first time claiming his masculinity is a powerful political force. My RedState colleague Brandon Morse recently reported that Walz felt his manly attributes intimidated Republicans.

"I think I scare them a little bit, is why they spend so much time on me," Walz said without evidence. "No, I'm serious because I can fix a truck, they know I'm not [BSing] on this."

Bruh, we do not fear you because you can fix a truck. We might be afraid that you'd ever have to fix our truck, but no, try again.

Caitlin Jenner even joked about being "more masculine" than Tiny Tim.

This is who Harris viewed as the "code talker" for men who watch football ...

Harris and Walz getting shellacked in November wasn't a wake-up call to the fact that he is just a weird dude, either. The New York Times recently highlighted Walz as a new breed of Democrat leader known as the "dark woke" warrior.

They still view him as tough and edgy. Why is anybody's guess.

Former WWE star Kane told RedState recently that "Happy Hands" Walz's brand of masculinity is an affront to real men and women.

"Democrats are desperately trying to change their image. They realize their narrative of effeminate males and weak females has failed. Now, they're flailing to change that narrative to 'we're tough guys, we're masculine men,'" he said. "Their issue is that people see right through these attempts."

I'm unaware of anyone watching a football game or fixing their truck who would sit back and think, 'Ya know, I bet this would be more fun with Tim Walz here.'

President Trump, on the other hand - Now that's a guy you'd want to share a beer with and watch the game.
