Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) channeled Joe Biden's "put y'all back in chains" comment when she declared that immigration enforcement under President Trump is basically a means to bring back slavery.
Crockett's comments surfaced during a segment for a "24-Hour State of the People Marathon," which was a protest event designed to counter the president's address to Congress earlier this week.
The livestream featured a never-ending assembly line of guests providing racially charged and provocative commentary. Crockett did not disappoint.
“As they have decided to go after immigrants and these — and things like that, and they’ve said, ‘Oh, they’ve taken your black job, they’ve taken your black jobs,'" she told viewers. "Not really, they are obviously jobs that they want us to go back to, such as work in the fields, alright?"
"Those immigrants that come into our country, they work the fields, something that we ain’t done in a long time," added Crockett. "And clearly, he is trying to make us go back to the fields.”

Not surprisingly, Crockett wasn't the only lawmaker to play race-baiter.
She was joined by the equally intellectually deficient Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) - he of "Oh noes, Guam might capsize" fame - who echoed the sentiments that President Trump is trying to bring back slavery.
Whereas Jasmine argued that immigration enforcement was the secret plot, Johnson, at the same event, suggested dismantling the Education Department would lead to black people being forced to "pick cotton."
"It’s a recipe to make education unavailable to Black people," Johnson claimed without evidence. "It puts us back to when America was ‘great,’ and we were picking cotton and doing the productivity that they’re putting my Latino brothers and sisters who migrate here to do that work because we are not suited intellectually to do it anymore."
"But they would have us back, confined to doing that kind of work," he added. "We gotta watch out for where we are headed."

Democrats are determined to alienate every sane voter in America — if they haven’t already.
The irony that this claim about restricting education (a straw man argument to begin with) comes from an individual whose most notable contribution to the public square is a debate about the buoyancy of Guam is simply breathtaking. Don't even get me started on how the Education Department itself has destroyed education and test scores in the black community.
Crockett isn't exactly a Mensa candidate, either. She thinks she is, but no evidence supports that theory.
WATCH: Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett Goes Nuts During Hearing, Starts Shouting About the 'White Man'
The comments by Johnson and Crockett (that sounds like a buddy cop film in the making) are incredibly reminiscent of Biden's 2012 pronouncement to African-Americans that Republicans and Mitt Romney “wanted to put them all back in chains.”
All of it is par for the course for Jasmine. She's basically Al Sharpton in heels at this point, using a fake racial angle to make political points because that's what dim-bulb Democrats do.
At a House Oversight Committee hearing earlier this year, Crockett launched into a vile tirade about minorities being used to create congressional seats for white Republicans. She also managed to go viral with this racist screed about the "white man."
Democrats are increasingly on the ropes and becoming unhinged as Trump implements his vision for America.
