Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) believes President Donald Trump is enjoying a bit of a bump in the polls in his second term because the American people just aren't that bright.
I repeat — Jasmine Crockett said this.
In an appearance with the ladies of "The View" on Wednesday, the Texas liberal was challenged by the panel's token conservative, Alyssa Farah Griffin, as to why voters seem to be backing Trump as he delivers on his many campaign promises.
"My takeaway is just like the election: We've got to do better at education," Crockett replied.
Q: The American people overwhelmingly support what President Trump is doing. What's your take away?

REP. CROCKETT: "We've gotta do better at education. People don't understand!" 😂 pic.twitter.com/g10DyZTr68
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in that election she's referencing, the president smoked Kamala Harris by earning 77.3 million votes. He currently boasts of a 53 percent approval rating. And Crockett thinks the best outreach for her resistance party right now is to portray well over half the nation as ... stupid? Not only as stupid, but because it's coming from her mouth, she's implying that y'all are dumber than her.
Jasmine. Freaking. Crockett.
To quote the great Pepper Brooks: It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.
Jasmine didn't stop there, either. The congresswoman suggested that if Americans don't already realize they need "better education," they're about to learn things the hard way.
"People don’t understand, but you will understand when those hospitals in rural America start closing down even more. You will understand when you don’t have your Social Security. You will understand when your Medicaid, your Medicare goes away," she ranted.
"You will understand as planes continue to fall out of the sky."

Not quite sure about the rest of the American people, but I'm going to issue a hard pass when it comes to taking education advice from someone who probably needs a user's manual to tie her shoes.
Crockett honestly gives AOC a run for her money when it comes to the title, declared by Border Czar Tom Homan, of "dumbest congresswoman ever."
Speaking of Homan, he once steamrolled Crockett when asked to comment on her, saying, "I don’t know who this lady is. Apparently, she’s not real smart."
It's apparent to everybody with a working set of eyes and ears right now.

Homan fires back that he's "forgot more about this issue than she’ll ever know."

The Texas lawmaker has a propensity to embarrass herself on the national stage.
Earlier this year, Crockett almost managed to get into a physical altercation with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) because she's a hardened advocate for biological men to make use of women's bathrooms.
At a House Oversight Committee hearing regarding problems in the U.S. Census, Crockett launched into a vile tirade about minorities being used to create seats for white Republicans. She also managed to go viral with this racist screed about the "white man."

You may recall she once referred to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) as a "bleach blonde bad built butch body," then tried to capitalize on the incident by making t-shirts that had her name misspelled.
She couldn't accurately proofread her own name.

Did you know that you misspelled your own name? @nicksortor wanted you to know.

If you could harness the energy from her brainwaves, you might get enough power to light a small birthday candle. Crockett is the kind of person who would get fired from her job at the M&M factory for throwing out all the Ws.
And she then turns it all around and says no, it's you — you're the one who is not smart.
This is what she does. This is her shtick. Like a WWE character, she has to play a role by projecting all of her intellectual shortcomings onto the crowd. It's what Crockett has done her entire career.
