President Trump, with his fast-paced approach to course-correcting for America just weeks into his second term, is ushering in a new era of optimism for this nation. He's bringing joy back, if you will.
The numbers do not lie.
Rasmussen Reports has revealed that for the first time in two decades — two decades! — their Presidential Approval Roundup shows a majority of Americans believe the country is on the "right track."
That encompasses the majority of George W. Bush's second term, the entire presidencies of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and even Trump's first term.
But we're dealing with Trump 2.0 right now. A man with a new direction himself. A renewed determination to Make America Great Again. An individual who believes he has been chosen by God to lead this nation to prominence once more.

Poll Reveals Amazing Shift in Public Opinion About Direction of the Country Since Inauguration
Trump Has Left Democrats Dazed, Demoralized, Deluded, and Leaderless
While it might not seem all that momentous, with just 1 percent more saying the country is on the "right track," let's add a little context.
Head of Polling and Operations with Rasmussen, Mark Mitchell, took to X to convey the significance of their latest polling numbers. They're historic.
"Can't stress how big a deal this is," he wrote. "America is happier than our polling has ever shown about the direction of the country."
Again, the joy is back. Partially because the woman who promised to deliver the faux joy, Kamala Harris, is nowhere near the Oval Office. But mainly because the guy who is in the White House is delivering on his campaign promises at breakneck speed while having his finger on the pulse of the American people.
Can't stress how big a deal this is.

Rasmussen also had Trump's daily presidential approval rating hanging strong on Friday at 54 percent (44 percent disapprove). Imagine what the Democrats must be thinking — "We pitched this guy as the second coming of Hitler, and the American people ... love him?!"
This latest development comes as an Emerson poll delivered similar numbers when it comes to how Americans view the country's direction.
Emerson showed that prior to Trump's inauguration, the joy was significantly lacking. A staggering 67 percent indicated the country was on the wrong track, while just 33 percent thought it was on the right track. By the end of January, the numbers had shifted to 52 percent thinking we were on the right track and 48 percent saying America was headed in the wrong direction.
That is a massive swing, folks.
CNN's resident data guru, Harry Enten, recently explained that President Trump was experiencing "big league" approval numbers this time around. Positive numbers he never saw during his first term.
"This is a very, very different Donald Trump. He’s leading a very different administration the way he’s attacking things," Enten told viewers. "And the American public is very much more in line with him than they were at any point during his entire first term."
Trump 2.0, so far, has been a thing of beauty. The American people feel it.
