The Un-President-ed Lies of Barack Obama

So Our Deceiver-In-Chief seems to believe the latest reporting on Obamacare involves “unprecedented scare tactics.” This is garbage. This administration has involved nothing but scare tactics since the day it took office. Anything less may have allowed a crisis or three to go to waste. I think were all a little sick of hearing about how each new sunrise is unprecedented. It’s as if Barack Obama spent his entire tenure as a Harvard Law Review Editor and only remembered one quarter-dollar word that was longer than three syllables.

Who can forget President Vero Possumus telling us that we had to pass his stimulus boondoggle or else the economy would curl up and die in the corner like a silverfish doused in bug juice? I remember blogging this dishonest man’s demagougery during the 2011 debt ceiling fight. He told us the following lie.

“I cannot guarantee that those checks (Social Security Payments) go out on August 3rd if we haven’t resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it,”

What were his priorities? Like Nathan Bedford Forrest*, his priority is to keep up the sker. He intends to maintain that momentum until he gets Universal Government Health Care via a single payer system. Here is his entire quote, in all its fullsome agravation.

“You’ve had is an unprecedented effort that you’ve seen ramp up in the past month or so that those who have opposed the idea of universal health care in the first place — and have fought this thing tooth and nail through Congress and through the courts — trying to scare and discourage people from getting a good deal,” Obama said.

Of course nobody opposes the ideal of universal healthcare. What they oppose is having themselves held up at bayonet point to pay for a bunch of other people. This particularly nettles when they are told lies about the cost and the quality of this care.

Yes, this is truly audacious. It’s the audacity of now, last year, and the three before that. If it isn’t unprecedented audacity; it certainly is unpresidential. If President Obama knew how to lead, if he could possibly design a policy that could bring about his ideological visions in a workable fashion, he would not be so reliant upon the very scare tactics that he hypocritically decries. 2016, you cannot arrive rapidly enough for America.
