Hasan Piker is doing more damage control for the El-Sayed campaign than emergency response crews after a firebombing.

He recently tried to deflect criticism of himself and the Michigan Democrat Senate nominee, calling the idea that the pair “hate America” downright laughable.

“It is completely ridiculous. It’s laughable to say guys like myself, guys like Abdul El-Sayed, ‘We hate America,’” Piker said.

*Record scratch.*

“I say I hate America all the time,” Piker declared. “A lot of mother***ers want to kill me over that tape, but at least I say with my f***ing chest, people will be like ‘Hasan, you hate America.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I do. I do hate America.’”

That clip has reportedly been circulating since at least 2022. So the “fact-check” here is not really complicated.

Does Hasan Piker hate America? According to Hasan Piker, yes. Yes, he does.

This reminds me of the Dave Chappelle skit when Rick James denied stomping on Eddie Murphy’s couch.

What is fascinating is that it kind of looks like Hasan Piker is the inner monologue of El-Sayed made flesh, if it were given greasy hair and a pair of wire-rim spectacles.

This DSA “superstar” has appeared out of nowhere, which is hard to square with the fact that the USAID money was supposed to have been shut off. The Trump administration might want to check again.

Hasan Piker wouldn’t even be a blip on Americans’ radar, except the left-wing blogosphere has a cultlike affinity for pushing the most divisive edgelords into normies’ faces in order to get a reaction.

Welp, here we are. Normally, this wouldn’t be relevant to most Americans’ lives except that his Muslim brother from another mother is running for senator in Michigan: Abdul El-Sayed.

So, when he denies that he and his Islamist cohort “hate America,” it matters.

Because it’s more about how Islamists and communists hide their malicious intentions for the country from mindless Democrats who really should know better.

Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-MT) piled on Sunday, posting, “Hating America seems to be a pattern with these two.”

The other half of “these two” would be El-Sayed, who probably wishes this entire Hasan Piker conversation would disappear somewhere into Lake Michigan.

Sheehy paired his post with an old message from El-Sayed marking the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

“Today, I mourn the 3K lives, 6K injuries, & infrastructural devastation in NYC, perpetrated ignorantly in the name of my faith,” El-Sayed wrote in 2021.

“Tomorrow, I’ll mourn ~1M lives, millions of injuries, & infrastructural devastation in 3 countries, perpetrated ignorantly in the name of my country.”

That is more like the kind of tweet you’d see from one of Osama bin Laden’s wingmen than a potential U.S. senator.

But it definitely fits the kind of guy who would refuse to disavow a communist Twitch streamer who has a 9/11 attack photo in his room like it’s a kitten “hang in there” poster.

He has also said that America “deserved 9/11.” That’s your “posterchild” for the DSA, folks.

It’s 2026. The Cold War is “over.” And we have commie “Twitch streamers” (whatever that is) impacting the midterm election.

Such is the state of the American left, whose Undemocratic Party has left the reservation and is throwing in its lot with the Democratic Socialists of America.

And El-Sayed’s defense so far has basically been: Why are we talking about this guy?

During an appearance Friday on MS NOW’s “The Moment,” El-Sayed tried repeatedly to steer the conversation away from Piker.

“This campaign is not about a streamer in California,” El-Sayed said. “This campaign is about affordability in Michigan. This campaign is about the ability to have healthcare.”

Host Katy Tur immediately pointed out the obvious flaw in that defense during a relaxing softball interview that would make a men’s beer league jealous.

“The streamer in California does campaign with a lot of Democrats,” she said. “So, he’s not just a streamer.”

Piker is not some random guy livestreaming from his basement while eating hummus and yelling at strangers. He has become a “star” on the radicalized left, and Democrats have appeared with him, courted his audience, and treated him as politically relevant.

That becomes a little more awkward when the politically relevant streamer is on tape saying, with his “f***ing chest,” that he hates America.

Tur pressed El-Sayed on whether the association could become costly in Michigan, where Sen. Elissa Slotkin won her race by only about 22,000 votes.

El-Sayed again tried to change the subject.

“If folks want to make this about a streamer in California, they’re welcome to do that,” he said. “But I’m focused on Donald Trump, I’m focused on addressing the affordability crisis, I’m focused on getting you healthcare, and that’s what I’m going to stay focused on.”

Michigan Democrats, however, appear considerably less interested in pretending Piker is just some irrelevant dude in California.

Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) told CNN she “strongly disagree[s] with many of the things that Hasan Piker has said” and called some of his remarks “simply inexcusable.”

Then Dingell revealed her fear that her leftist comrades are going to blow the Democrats’ cover.

“I pray we’re not going to see him in Michigan from now until the election.”

Ouch.

Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI), whom El-Sayed narrowly defeated in the Democrat primary, made a blanket denial.

“I don’t agree with Piker,” Stevens said. “I don’t think he’s a part of the Democratic Party.”

Asked why El-Sayed keeps associating with him, Stevens essentially threw up her hands.

“Well, I don’t know why. You should ask him.”

That sounds less like a unified ticket and more like everyone slowly backing away from the guys having Molotov cocktails in the Democrat Party.

And El-Sayed has his own share of rhetorical firebombs. His campaign was already busted for a 2018 remark in which he told Americans, “You may not hate Muslims, but Muslims for sure hate you.” 

He has also slammed efforts to ban Sharia law in Oklahoma, Muslimsplaining that it furthers the state’s history of “white supremacy.”

But the wolf’s desperation to pull the wool over our eyes was on full display when he compared the “radical” nature of his Islamo-marxist agenda to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“You know, Jesus, peace and blessings be upon Him, was considered radical in His time too,” El-Sayed said.

I don’t think Jesus would be deleting tweets about 9/11. Nor would he be hiding his true agenda from the people he wanted to lead. The Bible, after all, is considered to be the Word of God.

What Islamists and communists have to offer the world is one thing and one thing only: Lies.
