Company That Bought Aborted Baby Body Parts Drops Suit Against the Center for Medical Progress

The Center for Medical Progress announced Wednesday that StemExpress, the company they had exposed as being in the business of buying and selling the body parts of aborted babies, has dropped its lawsuit against C.M.P. and is walking away with nothing.

“StemExpress was the first of Planned Parenthood’s accomplices to file a retaliatory lawsuit against citizen journalists and the first to seek an unconstitutional prior restraint on our First Amendment rights to speak and publish,” notes CMP Project Lead David Daleiden. “Now, the video is out for all the world to see, StemExpress faces criminal referral in multiple jurisdictions, and they are walking away from their own lawsuit empty-handed.”

A gag order was denied in August of 2015, during the time that the videos were being released at regular intervals.

Because of these undercover videos by citizen journalists Planned Parenthood and its Mar Monte facility, as well as StemExpress, have been referred to the FBI and the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.

This is a win, to be sure.

As Congress is set to vote on defunding Planned Parenthood from being supported by tax payer dollars, it’s worth noting that California passed and Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill that will make C.M.P and David Daleiden’s work even more difficult to do in late 2015. This makes their videos that much more valuable and reminds all of us on the side of life that the fight for the unborn is far from over.
