If your style is to hit back whenever you’re hit, this is the logical place to go, and he’s already starting. It’s a reminder that he’s not the only awful person on the stage.
The only thing is, there’s not an ever-growing list of Democrat politicians abandoning Hillary Clinton today because of her treatment of Juanita Broaddrick. But there very notably is a large list of GOP pols ditching Trump, as RedState has been documenting all day long. I count eight U.S. Senators from the GOP calling for him to drop out, and three more who have revoked their previous endorsements. And that’s not even counting the GOP members of the House doing the same.
The first question of the debate is going to be about the mass GOP exodus from the Trump Train. I guess Trump can try to fake his way through it with a lot of Bill Clinton this and Juanita Broaddrick that. I’m just not sure that’s going to wash with the voters.
