As we reported, former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom had an eventful time when he went to the Chicago Sky game against the Indiana Fever in Chicago.
First, he was hassled by people outside the game for his support of women not having to play against biological men. Then, during the game, he was ejected after a confrontation with Sky player Natasha Cloud.

He was seated courtside. Cloud began shouting at him, he said. He took a step toward her, and that's when he was ejected, as other players intervened to block her. Kanter Freedom posted immediately afterward that he got kicked out for supporting women.
Now he's detailing more about what caused the confrontation.

"Sophie Cunningham shot a three, and I put my hands up to celebrate. Literally, a couple possessions later, Natasha came back and started screaming and yelling and said, ‘She’s not gonna sleep with you.’
"And I was like, ‘I am not trying to sleep with her. I’m just here to protect women and support her.’ And then, obviously, after that she started yapping, and she started to walk towards me, and literally I just got up, and then I was like, ‘I’m just here to protect women, and that’s all.’"
Kanter Freedom said he was troubled that Cloud used foul language because there were kids there.
"She started to yell. She started to use some very heavy language. She started to actually cuss, and I was very shocked that there were a lot of kids and that there were a lot of teenagers was at that game."
"I just cannot believe that she was just cussing and using those F-bombs in front of all these kids, and that is not, I’m sure she’s loved in Chicago and many kids and idolizing her and stuff, but that’s not how a WNBA athlete should react."
Kanter Freedom said he thought his shirt triggered Cloud. He was wearing a shirt that said, "WOMAN noun. adult human female." He also said security wouldn't give him any reason for being ejected from the game, and he had to ask them not to touch him. They just told him he had to leave, he said. He said he knew they had a tough job and didn't want to make it tougher, so he left.
Cloud later posted on Threads:
"To every trans kid/person, You are apart of MY community & tribe. You belong. You’re loved. You’re seen. You’re perfect as you are. & you will always be protected by me," Cloud wrote.
Kanter Freedom said the issue had nothing to do with transgender people or his plans to play in the WNBA. He explained he wasn't against anyone; he was just taking his position to support women.
"This is not a right or left issue," he said. "People need to understand this is not a political issue. This is just common sense."
