Stephen Miller's Humorous Point About Olive Garden and the Case for Voter ID

We reported on how the Olive Garden inadvertently entered the voter ID debate when their X account posted a response to a customer about the Never-Ending Pasta Pass, which went on sale on Thursday.

That immediately prompted a response from people on the Right about voter ID, and that the Olive Garden approach was better than what we have now for voter security.

Among the great reactions to the Olive Garden post was this one from White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller on The Clay and Buck Show.

"So we've reached a point in society where access to fettuccine at Olive Garden is vastly more secure than deciding who is Commander-in-Chief of the country," he snarked.

You would think that would be incredible, but it's true. Secure elections should be a no-brainer, bipartisan issue. Yet Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to stop things that would make our elections more secure, such as the SAVE America Act. The fact that they don't want secure elections tells you everything about them - and all of it is bad. Who would have thought Olive Garden, of all places, would be such an effective debunker of the Democrats' excuses?

Obviously, if I were being sarcastic, I'd say Olive Garden is fascist and must want to oppress women. We can see how dumb that argument is, when Olive Garden just wants the pass to be used by those who have a right to it.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson also made the point in an interview with Newsmax.

Now, some Democrats did insert themselves into the discussion, trying to argue that voting was "D" different, that it was a Constitutional right.

Actually, that's arguing against themselves. If it is a Constitutional right, it's all the more reason that you should ensure that it is secure, so that our rights to select our elected officials are not diluted by those who have no right to vote.

So, according to Democrats, not securing elections isn't "rigging," but securing them is. Democrats turn reality on its head. Listen as Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) explained how Trump and Republicans wanting security with the SAVE America Act was "rigging." But then she makes a damning admission.

“[The SAVE America Act] would make it hard for any Democrat in any state to win any election," she said.

That explains everything.
