Dem Senator's Reply to 'Where Socialism Has Worked' Says It All, As Party Chaos Continues

At this point, the Democrats are in complete chaos.

They opened the door to the socialists. Now those socialists are winning in places like New York, and making noises elsewhere. They're even threatening to take down House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), chanting, "You're next!"

The socialists are going to have a tougher time in most other places than NYC, but they shouldn't be getting in at all. And the fact that they are is all the fault of the Democrats.

CNBC's Joe Kernen put Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE) on the spot, asking her to tell him, "Where has socialism ever worked, Senator?" Check out Rochester's scramble not to answer the question.

"Is that another question, or is that for the next interview?" she replied.

Kernen said the question was "definitely for you." "I just want to know one place where it has been beneficial."

"Well, when you have me come back on, we can talk about all the races," Rochester said, still ducking the question.

"Get your answer ready," Kernen quipped back.

Because she has no answer, and that's the position that Democrats have now placed themselves into. The socialists are now the face of the party; the Democrats are banner holders for a failed ideology. That needs to be pointed out by the Republicans at every opportunity.

Meanwhile, former Democratic National Committee (DNC) head Jaime Harrison seemed to be trying to clean up the mess the Democrats have made for themselves.

I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination. Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

Focus on building the party you actually support.

Political parties aren’t perfect, but they’re built by millions of people who knock doors, make calls, organize meetings, and fight for the values they believe in. If you don’t believe in the party, then don’t ask its members to carry you across the finish line.

Um, you're a bit late with that, don't you think? You let this build up for years. And when I say "you," I don't just mean Harrison, I mean the Democrats in general. Now, the radicals are the party.

Harrison is right, although late. How late was shown by the reaction to his post. "Democrats"/progressives inundated him, angry that he would dare say this. You even had Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) weighing in to argue this was about "listening to the voters."

"Bolder" = more socialist? That's not bolder, that's crazy.

Bold to say when 62% of Democrats view the party unfavorably. Progressives are the only positive thing the Dems have going, and for their trouble, the former DNC chair is on Twitter threatening them.

I agree with Jamie. Everyone should Demexit. Only genocide-loving corporate elites are welcome in the Democratic party.

Democrats are imploding, and they have no one to blame but themselves.
