As Dems Implode, Hakeem Jeffries Gets a Big Warning That Has Everyone Talking

As we reported, the socialists had a big night in New York City, with three of the candidates endorsed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani winning in the primary. Because it's a deep blue city, it basically means they will win the general election.

House Majority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) was the big loser on the night, after the people he backed, such as long-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) (who was the head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus), lost to the socialist wave.

The socialist crew also made it clear they were coming for Jeffries, as our sister site, Townhall, reported. At the victory party for Claire Valdez, one of the Mamdani socialists who won, they first booed Jeffries when he appeared on the screen.

Then they chanted, "You're next!"

That is not an idle threat, and the civil war was on. It did not go well. Here's a sample.

They don't care about the optics of chanting against a black House Majority Leader — all they care about is taking power. And anyone who partners with them, as the Democrats have done, will get thrown under the bus in the process.

I think it's fair to say the Democrats are imploding. They embraced more of the radical left, and now it's come back to bite them big time.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) sent Jeffries flowers and a condolence card.

"Three losses in one night is tough. We wanted so-called 'Leader' Jeffries to know our thoughts are with him, his candidates, and whatever remains of his influence in the Democrat Party," NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella quipped.

The Democrats opened the door to this. It's not only bad for New York, but it's also bad for America. This will likely drive Democrats even further left in an effort to appease the extreme, which will show how radical they are to the rest of America.

But the rest of America isn't as keen on embracing socialism as New York City might be. So this is likely to cause more defections by Democrat voters and more in the center voting Republican to stop the ascent of this insanity. And the Republicans should make it very clear in all their ads what the Democratic Party has become with these radicals. Because it truly is an existential fight against radicalism.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
