I suspect a severe lesson is about to be incoming for the Iranian regime after their actions on Sunday.
The U.S,-owned “Neha” trade ship was attacked by two Iranian drones in the Persian Gulf on Sunday, the chairman of Safesea Group, SV Anchan, told Fox News Digital.
One drone hit the ship while the other missed. The vessel was empty of cargo at the time of the attack and was anchored near Doha.
The ship had 23 sailors aboard and no injuries were reported.
It appears to have been hit near Qatar. That ship is owned by a New Jersey-headquartered company.
There was also a report of a ship being hit near Qatar.

The regime was also busy attacking its neighbors again, firing drones at Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
"The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, stated that the armed forces detected, at dawn today, a number of hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, and they were dealt with in accordance with established procedures," the army said in a statement.
"The armed forces affirm their full readiness to maintain the security of the homeland and the safety of citizens and residents," it added.
The incident comes after the United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully engaged 2 UAV’s launched from Iran on Sunday.
There's been a response from the regime on negotiations.
Iran's leadership sent a response to the latest U.S. peace proposal to mediators in Pakistan on Sunday, Iranian state media reported.
The report did not offer details about the contents of the response.
But if it isn't about completely giving up their uranium and enrichment, and about ensuring free movement through the Strait of Hormuz, it's a non-starter.
At this point, their time is running out. They can't just play games while continuing to fire on ships and their neighbors. We pounded on a variety of targets on shore where they had missile launchers and other positions on Thursday after they fired on U.S. destroyers. As Secretary of State Marco Rubio laid down the red line on Friday while visiting Italy, if the Iranians threaten Americans, they're "going to get blown up."
"If I were one of these Iranians on a fast boat and they tell you, your mission is to go after a U.S. destroyer, you're probably not going to survive," Rubio said. They shouldn't think he didn't mean they shouldn't use drones, too.

If the Iranian regime isn't getting the message, maybe patience should be at an end. They keep waving a flag that says, "Pound us into oblivion." And we are perfectly capable of obliging them. They keep demonstrating they do not learn.
So expect a response incoming that the regime isn't going to like, and we'll let you know more about what the response to the deal was when we find out. But I wouldn't bet on the regime having had a lot of sense in that response.
Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
