Democrats have created a mess at the airports with their refusal to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which includes the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). That's prompted hundreds of agents to quit because they're not being paid, and, in turn, that's resulted in massive lines of people backed up at the airports to go through security.
President Donald Trump has now deployed ICE agents to some of the airports to help. Border Czar Tom Homan, who is in charge of the effort, said they can do things like relieve the TSA guarding exits to free them up to do more screening of passengers, which will help reduce the lines.

Democrats should be ashamed of what they have done here. They are not only causing this chaos, but they are also endangering our safety, not only with the TSA, but across the gamut of what the DHS covers. They've put their own political agenda against ICE before the safety of the American people.
But instead, you see some of them doubling down, trying to demonize ICE. The comment from Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) was downright dangerous and despicable.

He's flat-out claiming they will brutalize people, shoot, and kill them. That's how he speaks about American law enforcement officers who put themselves on the line for us. He's inciting even in the midst of the chaos; he's trying to scare the American people, which is disgusting. This could cause people not to cooperate with ICE at the airports and create an incident.
The Senate Democrats' X account not only didn't denounce it, but they also retweeted it, thus endorsing it.
