President Donald Trump gave an interview to NewsNation's Katie Pavlich.
The first segment aired on Tuesday, as our Townhall sister site reported.
One of the most important subjects covered was the anti-ICE actions in Minnesota, and whether he would employ the Insurrection Act. Trump said he didn't think they needed it yet, but he would have no problem invoking it, and that 40 percent of past presidents had used it.
Katie Pavlich just asked President Trump about the Insurrection Act and whether he’d use it in Minnesota.

His answer left no room for doubt about his willingness to act if necessary.

He then ripped into the fraud and the craziness of the anti-ICE actions, explaining that ICE was taking down serious criminals.
.@POTUS on Minnesota: "Number one, you have $19B worth of stolen money...and then you have the agitators, anarchists...these are professional, paid people...What they don't see is that ICE gets rid of murderers, drug dealers, Tren de Aragua—the worst gang anywhere in the world." pic.twitter.com/iS7I4zWyqP

Trump then called out Democratic Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger. She rescinded the executive order of her predecessor, Glenn Youngkin, which allowed the state police to assist ICE.
.@POTUS: "I hope there are no problems because if there are, she's not going to get it corrected very easily... That's not where the country is. The country doesn't want to see murderers, and drug dealers, and gang members and all coming from other countries." https://t.co/pSIbvTK95G pic.twitter.com/LwKbPR6NjX

It's Democratic moves like that that increase the problems with picking up the illegal aliens.
One of the things that people in the liberal media constantly miss is how supportive Trump has been to people like the Angel Moms and the people who have been so adversely affected by illegal aliens. He nailed Democrats for not caring about people like Laken Riley and how much people have been hurt.
.@POTUS on Democrats refusing to acknowledge Laken Riley's family during last year's State of the Union: "There's something wrong with them. Maybe it's Trump Derangement Syndrome... You introduce a family whose child was just lost and they're sitting there — they're just… pic.twitter.com/2H5CED8wBp

You introduce a family whose child was just lost and they're sitting there — they're just stone-faced. It's a meanness.
Trump also addressed the importance of acquiring Greenland for national security and for missile defense, with China and Russia on the move.
.@POTUS on Greenland: "It's in a location that is very important for our national security, and also for the International security of the world, literally... As an example, we're building the Golden Dome... if somebody wants to shoot missiles, it'll knock them out of the air… pic.twitter.com/loEHhrFykV

Trump couldn't reveal what he was going to do about Iran, but he upped the warning, big time.
.@POTUS on threats from Iran: "I've left notification, anything ever happens... the whole country's going to get blown up." pic.twitter.com/oD6WpeWVoY

He said he'd like to be known as a "great president." And what would that mean? His description wasn't about personal recognition; it was about our success as a country.
.@POTUS: "I would love my legacy to be that I was a great president, and a great president covers a lot of territory. We were safe, we were prosperous, we were doing well, we were happy as a country. I’d like to be known as a great president." pic.twitter.com/SuY3SeuMjt

"We were safe, we were prosperous, we were doing well, we were happy as a country," Trump said.
That's a great summation of what a president's focus should be about.
