President Donald Trump traveled to New York City on Monday night. He was there to deliver remarks before the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. He's expected to address Gaza and Ukraine, among other issues, in his first address to the body in his second term.
However, as one might expect, his presence in the city led to some traffic issues, as the police blocked off streets to provide security for the president through the area.
In a hilarious moment, French President Emmanuel Macron was caught in the traffic blockage and could not get past it. He was caught on camera talking to a police officer who basically told him there was nothing he could do about it. Macron ended up waiting and standing in the middle of the street, along with everyone else. Then Macron appeared to get on the phone with Trump.

In New York, police stopped the French president’s motorcade as the road was closed for Trump’s passage. Macron got out of the car, called Trump, and jokingly asked him to “clear the way.” pic.twitter.com/qO170xUpy5
"How are you? Guess what? I'm waiting in the street because everything is closed for you," Macron said.
Macron was then forced to spend the next 30 minutes walking to his destination, according to the report.
I guess he found out who the "boss" truly was.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. He had just left the UN General Assembly after doing this:
Macron used his trip to New York to formally recognize the “State of Palestine” on behalf of France at the UN, becoming the latest country to do so after Australia, Canada, the UK and Portugal all made similar announcements in recent days.
The very thing you should not do if you're trying to stop Hamas terrorists is reward them. Why should Hamas give up the hostages or stop fighting when European and other countries roll over to give them what they want anyway? It continues to feed the conflict rather than keeping the pressure on them to stop it.

So Macron had to walk for thirty minutes. Hopefully, he used that time to consider his bad choices, and, meanwhile, we can all be amused by him being inconvenienced, trying to get out of it, and it not happening for him.
The mishap involving Macron comes after new polling data revealed yesterday that his popularity in France has plunged to an all-time low.
The embattled president's approval rating has fallen to 17%, the lowest it has been since taking office in 2017.
The results of the Ifop survey conducted for French weekly Le Journal du Dimanche came after nearly one million workers and anti-austerity marchers took to the streets to protest Macron's handling of France's economy.
Sounds like he's about as popular as Democrats in this country.
Many on X loved the moment and laughed at Macron realizing who had the power.
