Oh My: Rep. Hank 'Guam' Johnson's Song on the Epstein Files Is As Bad As You Would Think

I think it's fair to say that the question of the Epstein Files has caused some turmoil with people wanting answers.

Democrats are trying to exploit any division they think they see, so they are latching on to the issue. But they're such a fractious bunch, they should get their own house in order before trying to blunder around after the Republicans.

If you want to look at a dumb attack, I think you can always count on Rep. Hank "Is Guam Sinking?" Johnson (D-GA).

"I'm Hank Johnson, coming to give you some more ear candy," he said. "Or perhaps an earache," he amended, perhaps being a bit more honest. "I'm going to do my best off this Jason Isbell tune, 'Dreamsicle.'" Fair warning: Your ears might bleed with the sour notes he hits. But he's probably a better singer than he is a Congressman. Even Breaking 911 couldn't take it. It's as bad as you would imagine.

Can we discuss how Democrats can't be taken seriously now? You have Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) talking about things like "brushing teeth where you poop." And now this? Johnson posted it to his X account himself, so he can't blame anyone else for trying to embarrass him. This is on him.

Johnson did whatever the heck that was, the latest theater kid performance, from his Congressional office. How do these folks who think this way even get into office? Then, when they reveal themselves like this, how do they keep getting voted back into office? He's been in office for 18 years, since 2007. Just like Wasserman Schultz, who wasn't concerned about illegal alien care under Joe Biden, where was Johnson on the Biden team releasing the Epstein files? Strangely silent. So let's not pretend he truly gives a damn now. It's just about Democrats thinking they can exploit the situation. Johnson made everyone come together...in thinking he was awful.

But as some noted, this cringeworthy mess from Johnson might just be enough to cause Guam to tip over. The weight of the bilge was a bit much.

This wasn't the first time Johnson assaulted people's ears. There was this hilariously bad offering in June that was even worse, and the guitar playing was just awful. He sang about Trump trying to "shoot down democracy."

But I guess he didn't learn from when people mocked him over that incident. As my colleague Rusty Weiss said at that time, "Good Lord, make it stop." All Democrats ever do is attack, and yet they're so bad at it. But whoever thinks the theater kid approach is good, no, guys, it isn't working.
