Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) has continued to whine about the incident at DHS Secretary Kristi Noem's briefing last week. Way to stretch out those 15 seconds of attention. He was almost crying on the Senate floor, acting as though he had been mistreated, trying to blame the Trump administration.

Vice President JD Vance gave remarks to reporters in Los Angeles on Friday. A reporter asked about a NY Times story claiming Democrats kept "getting handcuffed" by the Trump administration. He had a unique spin, which is driving the left mad at this hour.
I think it's safe to say that JD Vance gives zero f*cks.

"I was hoping Jose Padilla would be here to ask a question. But unfortunately, I guess he decided not to show up because there wasn't the theater, and that's all it is. I think everyone realizes that's what this is. It's pure political theater."
He said they want to be able to go back to their far-left groups to say they stood up to border enforcement and Donald Trump. He called it "grandstanding."
But did you notice something else? He referred to Sen. Alex Padilla as "Jose Padilla."
I mean let's face it, Padilla was pretty unknown before this past week. Even those who cover politics probably couldn't have picked him out. That's how undistinguished he was. So I could see Vance not getting the name right. And maybe it was a little troll because Padilla isn't known.
But the left is going right to "racism" because, of course, they are.
California Gov. Gavin screeched about how it was "not an accident."

Mayor Karen Bass also was flipping out, "How dare you disrespect our senator!"

Um, ma'am? Your senator disrespected the DHS secretary, and you didn't care about that. That was far more concerning than getting this guy's name wrong.
Democrats have been disrespecting our ICE agents and demonizing them. That is also more important than a wrong name, and they have done that deliberately. This is putting them in danger.
Democrats have continuously disrespected President Trump with the names they have called him.

There are so many examples I could pick, but seriously, Democrats have no credibility at all when it comes to something like this. They are the flag bearers for bad behavior.
Ultimately, the problem is the Democrats not supporting the enforcement of the law here. That's the whole issue. That's not the problem of the Republicans; that's all on the Democrats.
Vance's press secretary made a comment that's likely to make them flip out even more, saying, "He must have mixed up two people who have broken the law." Padilla has not faced any charges yet in the incident.
