One of the funniest tweets on Saturday after the "No Kings" protests was from Jonathan Chait who writes for The Atlantic.
The No Kings protests appear to be a massive success.
— Jonathan Chait (@jonathanchait) June 14, 2025
Um, I'm a bit confused. What was the whole purpose of this protest?
"No Kings?" We had no kings before the protest and...shockingly, we have no kings after it. Yay, success? That thing that already didn't exist that we wasted our time protesting, still doesn't exist.
But that's what liberal media guy Chait thinks is a "success." Which once again tells you how Democrats think. They don't measure by results, but by "feels." A lot of people came out to rant about President Donald Trump, so that's "success."
It wasn't completely meaningless. The folks from the assisted living facility did have a day out.

Did you notice how a great percentage of the people involved in these things are elderly folks?
The Democrats were upset with the Army's 250th birthday parade. That was insane since it was a fabulous parade. They should have watched it and learned something. The Army freed us from "kings" in the Revolutionary War. The leftists were so busy hating on Trump that they failed to understand the Army celebration was the true "No Kings" event, not their meaningless efforts.

It's also pretty hilarious that these Democratic politicians were talking about "No Kings" — when they were the ones who pushed Joe Biden aside and "crowned" Kamala Harris as his designated successor, despite her not receiving one primary vote for the top job. So much for democracy and the will of the people. They didn't care about the will of the people, and they paid for it when their candidate got destroyed in the election.
Many of the folks at these "No Kings" protests were chanting some version of how Trump has to get out of office. Here's the Refuse Fascism crew. I find them so funny, they "refuse" a "fascist" United States, but "Trump must go now."

How?
Then there's this from Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) saying that as to Trump, we should "evict, eject, reject, impeach, try, convict, and start all over again."
Unhinged preemptive-pardon recipient Jamie Raskin yells for the impeachment and conviction of Donald Trump:

“EVICT. EJECT. REJECT. IMPEACH. TRY. CONVICT. And start all over again!" pic.twitter.com/e7TDwyvmd9
Um, guys? Trump is the democratically elected president. If you try to "evict" him, in the words of Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), you are going against the will of the people. You are imposing your will in place of that of the voters. Sounding a bit like the "F" word. And frankly, once again, it sounds like Democrats are inciting.
The Democrats have already tried the "impeach, try, convict" route — Trump became president again, despite all their efforts.
Lo and behold, even after all the chants that he must go now, guess what?
Trump is still president. So much for their "success." They got to rant about their fantasies regarding him. But he's still there, and he will be for the next three and a half years.
Perhaps the saddest, unintentionally funny post is from Hillary Clinton. It's going on nine years, and she still can't get over losing to Trump. She's still rage-posting against him.
Compare and contrast scenes from yesterday in America.

On the one hand, Trump's low-energy Dear Leader parade (that cost you $45 million).
On the other, millions of people across the country gathering peacefully to say:
Here, we have no kings. pic.twitter.com/T52IW9wvSr
What's funny is she wants to influence people with what she's posting but still can't deal with anyone responding to her. She keeps cutting off replies. Yet people can still quote tweet her and call her out anyway.
As with anything Hillary says, there's a problem. The parade was about the Army's 250th birthday; it was not about Trump, despite this being the Democratic propaganda line. She was so consumed with her feelings about Trump that she couldn't think about what the parade was truly about. People just repeated this lie about "Trump's military parade" without caring that they were attacking the Army's birthday and the 250 years of sacrifice the parade honored.
She talks about the number of people who came out for the protest; that is hard to estimate. Their organizers estimated 5 million. What isn't hard to determine is that many more watched the parade. In just the post I saw from Trump/the White House, the post has 42 million views and the video has almost 16 million views.

And that's not counting other possible venues for viewing. So I think it's safe to say far more people saw the parade.
It should also be noted that the parade was underwritten with some support from private companies. Also, the cost was estimated to be from $25 to $45 million, so Hillary's quoting the high side estimate. Can we talk about how much the "No Kings" protest costs for federal, state, and local governments to have to deal with, including the related riots/violence?
Plus, let's truly compare and contrast the energy.
