Democrats have been losing their minds about the 250th birthday of the Army celebration in Washington, D.C.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's reaction was pretty disgusting - acting like he was horrified by seeing the preparations, and even hoping they will be rained on. Too bad, Tim; so far, it looks like a beautiful day.
There were other Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who attacked the event, claiming it is somehow a celebration by President Donald Trump of his birthday and that the cost of $45 million is too much. But they had been preparing for the event for the past two years. Plus, Democrats have absolutely no credibility when it comes to talking about costs, given everything they have wasted money on. They finally discovered discretion - when it's about honoring our military.
Now, there's a poll that indicates the American people aren't buying the propaganda about "it's Trump's birthday parade," with more people approving of the Army birthday parade than disapproving, even in an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research survey.
According to the poll, 40 percent approved, with 29 percent disapproving, with three in 10 neither approving nor disapproving. Two-thirds of Republicans approved, while half of Democrats disapproved.
There were some negative results about the cost, with 60 percent concerned about the use of funds. That's understandable given economic constraints - unless you're a Dem who has spent money like water, as I said regarding Elizabeth Warren and Democrats' strained credibility on the matter. You can make pretty good arguments that Trump has already saved billions with DOGE cuts, and the parade is for the military.
The videos coming out of the event are pretty cool - Americans are having a great time. It looks like a great recruitment effort for the young folks who are in attendance.

Who wouldn't want to check out some of those weapons and vehicles? That's very cool. It also gives people a good opportunity to interact with the military, to understand a little bit of the operation, and to get to talk to them, in addition to having a lot of fun.
It isn't like we haven't had military parades before in this country. We have had plenty. It's just like everything else with Democrats, even though it's completely normal to want to honor our military, once it involves Trump, they have to attack it--even if it attacks the military. After all the money the Democrats wasted, they have no room to talk, and I'm glad to see Americans enjoying and showing some appreciation for the folks who have sacrificed so much for us.
