Elizabeth Warren Attacks Event Honoring Army; the Reasons Dems Are Giving Are Hilariously Hypocritical

On Saturday, there's a celebration of the 250th birthday of the Army, with events and a big parade in Washington, D.C.

We've reported on the disgusting remarks that Democrat vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz made about the event, comparing it to Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, and saying he was hoping for rain to fall on the event.

It wasn't just him attacking the effort to honor our military, though; it was multiple Democrats including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). You can see their two main attacks in her tweet.

Trump’s parade will cost taxpayers up to $45 million.

For example, with that money, we could expand health care & food assistance for veterans.

A taxpayer-paid birthday gift to Trump sounds like government waste to me.

The first is that the anniversary is somehow something Trump cooked up to celebrate his birthday, which happens to be June 14, too.

However, the planning for the celebration goes back at least two years, long before Trump even got back into office; although the parade with military vehicles was added in 2025. There's no plan for Trump's birthday to be recognize. But that's just another fever dream spin from Democrats. It's such a typical leftist thing to attack something honoring the military.

Then the other point Warren is making is hilariously hypocritical. They come up with this as a complaint, after all the money the Democrats have spent on illegal aliens, all the money they sent to Ukraine--and after all the wasteful spending that DOGE found? This also comes after all the objections the Democrats made to saving billions with DOGE cuts.

Will Warren vote yes or no on the current DOGE cuts bill making its way through Congress? We all know the answer to that one.

No Democrat has any credibility, when they try to make such an argument. Suddenly they discover the desire to save money - when it's about honoring our military. How much will have to be spent to deal with the ridiculous "No Kings" protest?

I would note DOGE saved far more than this amount, even as the Democrats were yelling and trying to stop them--and even while radical leftists were attacking Teslas.
