Watch: Sen. Kennedy's Brutal Takedown of LA Rioters and the Dems' Reaction to Riots

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) doesn't mince words in the face of Democratic failure. He tends to take them apart in that classic way that he has. He was at it again about Los Angeles.

When he looked at what was going on with the anti-ICE riots, he saw a heck of a lot of failure dealing with a situation that wasn't particularly complicated. "You don't have to be an astrophysicist to figure it out," he snarked.

We've got a wolf problem in Los Angeles. They're not peaceful protesters, they're wolves. They're hurting people, they're destroying property. So you say where's the governor...He's a sheep, in sheep's clothing. He thinks cops are a bigger problem than criminals. So then you say where's the Mayor of Los Angeles? Maybe she can stop it. Well, she's a sheep too. More sheep is not going to solve the wolf problem.
So the federal government sent in troops, and we're stopping the wolf problem.

Kennedy wondered how much all this was costing and concluded, "Most Americans are looking at this and saying, 'Stop the wolves!'" That's right on target with both the wolves and the sheep.

That's why it's so insane that the Democrats are taking this position of attacking President Donald Trump for providing help with the National Guard. Why would anyone reject that or attack it? That doesn't look reasonable to the normal person. Americans look at the violence going on, attacks on law enforcement, waving the foreign flags, and have to be giving a side-eye to how the Democrats have reacted. Democrats are playing to their leftist base, but don't realize how they're looking to the rest of the country.

As we reported, the likely voters were strongly in favor of sending in the Guard, with 59 percent approval. You even had 37 percent approval from Democrats, which seems like a big number, but it's common sense.

Indeed, I think the movement from Trump finally pushed Mayor Karen Bass to call for a curfew on Tuesday night, which seems to have helped. Not to say that there still wasn't violence, but I think it probably reduced it.

New Poll Destroys Dem Narrative on Riots and Trump Deployment of National Guard

The Democrats were finally forced into looking like they were doing something because Trump was effectively shaming and shearing the sheep. With the curfew, troops, and the police, hopefully, that calms things down.

The best response would be for Democrats to stop embracing illegal aliens and start supporting federal law enforcement like ICE. None of this should be treated like it is normal because it isn't. Not to mention, they should stop their unhinged left from getting out of control, not just in Los Angeles but elsewhere as well.

But unfortunately, I don't think that will happen anytime soon.
