Mayor Karen Bass has finally done something constructive and in the process, admitted the problem that she's been trying to deny. She declared a local emergency and issued a curfew for downtown Los Angeles.

Bass should have done this by Saturday night, instead of bloviating 'til now. She acknowledged more than twenty businesses had been looted. She said the graffiti was everywhere and had caused significant damage to businesses and properties. She warned people would be arrested if they break the curfew. She explained that hundreds of officers from across the state were working with LAPD. 

I wonder if that may mean that they just go outside of the LAPD area, but at least that's something. 

There were also actions in other cities.

There was a huge group in Chicago.

There was a big protest in Boston and a smaller group in Denver.

In Seattle, a group reportedly tried to block the federal building. They taunted the federal agents, saying, "See what happened in L.A."

Breaking: Antifa and anti-ICE activists have barricaded all garage exits at the federal building in Seattle.

DHS police arrived on scene, got mobbed, liquids doused on them, and were forced to retreat.

Breaking: ICE Seattle and federal authorities have removed one of the barricades blocking an exit to the federal building in Seattle.

In New York, things got crazy as the anti-ICE crew blocked the streets for hours. 

They tried to stop an ICE van, which did not go well.

Finally, the police had to come in and charge them to get them out of the streets, and some were arrested.

Looks like some were going to "find out" that wasn't a great move, and there's going to be a lot of unrest this evening.
