Democrats need to learn how to control themselves.
We saw Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) start screaming at Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth during an Appropriations Committee hearing. Hegseth acquitted himself well and was very calm. She wanted information about shipping that she didn't think he had provided and he told her he would give her whatever information she wanted. But the screaming was just out of line. Then afterward, when the Department of Defense X account asked why the screaming, she blasted the DOD account asking, "Why are you lying?" when the account was not lying.

There was another instance of an unhinged Democrat reaction during Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's appearance before the House on Wednesday.
Among the things Bessent explained was the new deal that they'd just secured with China. So they should have been encouraged about that.

However, during California Rep. Linda Sanchez's time, she claimed that prices were rising.
SHAMEFUL: @RepLindaSanchez baselessly accuses @SecScottBessent of being sexist because he tried to correct her lie that "prices are rising."

He politely corrected her - that wasn't true, starting to reference the inflation numbers that just came in, which were once again good and less than expected.
That's when she lost it, cutting him off, saying, "Please don't interrupt me," when she spoke over the truth he was presenting. Still, he was polite because that's Bessent, saying "with pleasure."
That's why she tried to smear him as a sexist: "I know I'm a woman, but please try to limit yourself to answering my questions." You could hear the gasp and someone saying, "Come on!" They couldn't quite believe she would do that.
She then spoke to the crowd and claimed that she got talked over all the time, and didn't want that to happen.
Of course, Bessent was only trying to provide her with the truth; if anything, she cut him off. There's no evidence at all that it had anything to do with her being a woman, and frankly, it's lame to claim that, especially with Bessent who is unfailingly polite. She wants to paint the Trump team with that brush and it's gross. It's like playing the victim to skip around that she was wrong. I think she just didn't want to hear what he would say.
Since she said that, have Democrats now figured out what a woman is?
Yes, she has a right to ask questions. But just like with Rosa DeLauro, this isn't how you're supposed to deal with Cabinet secretaries. Democrats just seem to keep imploding right and left, even over something so basic.
It's not a good look.
Editor's Note: Donald Trump and his team have been fighting against the left’s extreme agenda.
