As we reported, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, fired two officials on the National Intelligence Council: Mike Collins, the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, according to senior intelligence officials.
Gabbard also moved the agency under her office so she could block any "politicization of intelligence."
The execrable former CIA head John Brennan had a meltdown when he was asked by MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace about the situation. Look at how angry he is and the wild blinking. "This whole thing just makes me livid," he ranted.

I've seen him flip out, but he's really mad here, look at how he's moving. Sounds like John's getting nervous again.
If John Brennan is livid, you know it's a good thing. That's the only worth of anything he says. If he hates it, you know then it's a great thing. It's like an "Inverse Cramer" reaction.
Alexa Henning, Gabbard's Deputy Chief of Staff, skewered him -- "Idk I feel like he should sit this one out" -- then posted a picture of The Guardian headlines of the 2014 CIA spying scandal of Senate staff under Brennan.
Even Democrats were furious about the scandal in 2014, but then there were no effective consequences beyond an apology.
Exactly. If you didn't know that MSNBC was a ridiculous network, having Brennan on would tell you that.
We reported previously how Brennan flipped out in January when his security clearance was pulled, saying he only had it to help the government if they needed to consult with him.
But frankly, who would want to consult with him at this point? I don't think that if President Donald Trump were looking for advice on intelligence, he would be turning to John Brennan. He would be the last person he would ever go to. MSNBC seems to be the only people who care about what he has to say.
Brennan also previously railed against the appointment of Gabbard, saying she could "skew" information and only give Trump what he wanted to hear. That took some gall, given how he's doing all he can to criticize Trump. But that showed what a great choice Gabbard was, if he was talking smack about her.

John Brennan is "livid"? Great! Keep doing exactly what you're doing!

Gabbard is also reportedly looking into other intelligence officials over alleged leaks of classified information and has made some referrals to the Department of Justice. She also established a group in April, the Director's Initiative Group (DIG), to restore transparency and accountability in the intelligence community. The group is looking into how the intelligence community has been weaponized.
She's taking her responsibility to clean things up seriously. So I think that Brennan is probably going to be livid about more things soon.
