Here's the Amusing Answer to Whether Those 4 Dems Got in to See Abrego Garcia

We reported earlier about the four new Democrats who went down to El Salvador to see Kilmar Abrego Garcia, following in the embarrassing footsteps of Sen. Chris Van Hollen. (D-MD).

The four included Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-OR), Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL), and Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ).

But they had a problem: House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) refused to fund the trip. He just dropped them with the letter saying they already knew from Van Hollen's margarita meeting with Abrego Garcia that he was alright, so they didn't need to go to find that out, and he wasn't going to put a single dime of the taxpayers' money toward their excursion.

Frost then tried to fluff off Comer's decision like it was nothing, acting all huffy, and declaring that they didn't need Comer's permission to get on a plane.

However, that meant their virtue signaling wasn't going to be funded by the taxpayers.

But that decision by Comer also had another humorous effect.

Frost was asked by MSNBC if he would be meeting with Abrego Garcia while he was there.

He explained then that officials in El Salvador turned them down, saying they weren't there in an "official capacity" — because Comer didn't authorize it as an official trip. In other words, they're just random people officially, and they got rejected.

But what did they think was going to happen? That the government of El Salvador is going to host a continuing cavalcade of Democrats for performance theater? At this point, they're just looking more and more ridiculous with their behavior.

But hey, they can always go lower. Never underestimate that when it comes to Democrats.

Frost said they weren't giving up, that they weren't the first Democrats there, and they wouldn't be the last.

Oh, goody, the Democrats intend to continue the drama. Have they checked in with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), who says this focus on Abrego Garcia is somehow a Trump distraction? Do they know that? I know it doesn't make any sense — it doesn't have to, it's the Democrats imploding.

There's an old saying about never interrupting your enemy when they are making a mistake.

Let's not interrupt them now. Let's just grab the popcorn and watch.
