There's a lot wrong with USAID and a lot to unravel, as DOGE has shown.
But that's led to a lot of craziness from the Democrats as they try to stop President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the DOGE team from cleaning things up. They're trying to storm agency buildings and get in, using words that sound like they're inciting violence, like "war." Exactly what do they think they're going to do if they got in there to stop DOGE? Can we say that looks pretty insurrection-y (their rules)?
The Democrats have been doing all they can to smear the review of the finances because they know it's cutting off the gravy train in so many ways. Trump is the worst "fascist" ever, as he slashes and cuts all this stuff out. But you have Democrats claiming this is somehow a coup and a government takeover by unelected Musk. Which is a tough sell since Trump is the duly elected head of the government who has designated DOGE and Elon Musk to this task as part of the Executive Office of the President. Either Democrats are ignorant and don't know this, or they're just lying their heads off, hoping to buffalo the American people. They want the "unelected bureaucrats" in agencies like USAID not to be reviewed. They don't want to talk about any of the things that have been exposed.
They've been spreading lies such as Musk — the richest man in the world — wants to steal Grandpa's Social Security, and the DOGE team is taking people's money. That's just despicable, but it just shows how desperate they are at this point when what they are saying to whip up fear has no relation to reality.

As Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explained, no one can mess with any of the money; they have just "read-only access" — which they would need for any review.

Democrats are melting down over nothing. Don’t fall for it.
Host: "Right now there is widespread concern about the DOGE team's access to sensitive payment systems…”

And there isn't any "widespread concern" about the review — the American people voted for it. The "concern" is just from a few screeching leftists who want to appear like more by yelling louder.
But Democrats are certainly trying to make it a "thing." The latest lie — from defeated 2024 Democrat vice presidential candidate Tim Walz is something else.
The richest man in the world is sitting at the Resolute desk, about to defund your public school.
— Tim Walz (@Tim_Walz) February 5, 2025
Trump should stop him.
I assume this somehow is supposed to have something to do with Trump wanting to get rid of the Department of Education, a long-held conservative thought. But the Department of Education doesn't fund public schools. Trump wants to return things to the states and local people, where they should be. So, if anything, your local people would have more control, not less. Democrats are just living in an alternate reality at this point when they say things like this. I'm not sure who they think believes such falsehoods, but they keep trying.
It also says a lot about Walz, who was a teacher. So either he doesn't know how schools are funded, or he just wants to gaslight you.
One thing you have to say about Elon Musk — he certainly has a tough skin and he's not stopped by these Democrats and their lame tactics.
What’s your name again? I forgot.

"What's your name again," he asked. "I forgot."
That's perfect.
