Democrats have gone bat nuts over the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and Elon Musk actually reviewing the spending of the U.S. government. 

They've been spreading all kinds of lies about the nature of what's going on, calling the actions "illegal" or a "coup," when they're the ones trying to interfere with the government and the actions of the duly elected president. They ridiculously were attacking Musk for being "unelected" when most government officials, including the people in the USAID, are "unelected." The person who isn't unelected is President Donald Trump, who tasked DOGE with that review. 

The Democrats were even out in front of the Treasury on Tuesday, calling for action in the streets, even sounding threatening and saying things like "Shut down the city" [D.C.] and this is "war." They even tried to get into the building. They were so out over their skis in what they were saying, it was ridiculous.

When even CNN laughs and mocks you, your tactics just might not be working.

Then, they show a short compilation of some of the protest speeches. There's Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) threatening to "bring the fire" if Republicans do "not see the light," then screaming, "RESIST!!" Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) yells they were going to be "in your faces, we're going to be on your asses." Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said they had just days to "stop the destruction of our democracy." Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) called for "shutting down the city" and "war." On top of it all, you even had 74-year-old Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) trying to lead a protest chant with 86-year-old Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) — and messing it up.

You can see Scott Jennings, Phillip, and others on the panel just can't help themselves as they start laughing after seeing the protest clip. Jennings pleads, "Can we play it again?" 

Even Gretchen Carlson does them in, "The Democrats need a real leader. They need a real leader — which currently does not exist in the Democratic Party." Oof. Fair and true. "And they have been caught completely flat-footed with the entire Trump presidency for the last two weeks." Carlson noted Trump was doing what he said he was going to do and that the partnership with Elon Musk was possibly one of the smartest things a president had ever done. "Democrats needed to have a plan, and it may be too late," Carlson exclaimed.

Phillip asked Bakari Sellers if he was "fired up." She pursed her lips and was trying hard not to laugh as Sellars mockingly said, 'I'm fired up and ready to go, can't you see it in my face?" 

Politically, they're just digging that hole even deeper as the public will look at them and just see how crazy they are. If they were trying to win ever again, they just keep doing everything they can to lose.
