Democrats are losing their minds over DOGE and Secretary of State Marco Rubio now taking a fine tooth comb to review USAID with all of its questionable spending around the world. The gravy train for a lot of their pet projects is being shut off.
One of the people outside the USAID building on Monday was Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD). He falsely accused Elon Musk of "illegally seizing power" over the financial payment systems.

But there's nothing "illegal" about it. Trump renamed an existing unit — the U.S. Digital Service that had been established by Barack Obama and was part of the Executive Office of the President (EOP) — DOGE, and that's what Elon is operating under, as a "special government employee." Raskin is falsely suggesting that the president doesn't have a right to review agencies within his own executive branch, claiming Musk was the "fourth branch of government."
They tried to get into the USAID building but were rebuffed.
Then Raskin went on Rachel Maddow's show on MSDNC and went completely unhinged, calling for protest actions in the streets against the duly elected president.

Raskin declared, "Popular protest is going to become very important here." He said it was "going to look very different from the first Trump administration" — gee, almost as if he knows how it will play out. Why would that be? He claimed they could get a lot of people — "5 million" out — but he said he was afraid that could attract "right-wing provocateurs," violence, and Trump could "declare martial law."
My gosh, the man will say anything. First, let's just recognize that left-wing protesters have been violent for decades. He seems to be trying to cover for them in advance by suggesting violence would be from the "right-wing provocateurs" and whip up fear about martial law.
Raskin said he thought the "decentralized protests" around departments and cities were "going to proliferate."
He talked about hundreds of people coming out the day before when, in fact, it looked like a small crowd of members of Congress and perhaps staff members.

This was when he completely went over the slide. "They might be attempting a coup against America, but we're going to stop them, and we're going to use every means available to us."
How is a duly elected president attempting a coup by reviewing an agency within his own executive branch? DOGE review was something Trump campaigned on, and it's one of the reasons he was elected.
But if Democrats are threatening to stop him in his constitutional duty and threatening to use "every means," then that sounds pretty coup-like to me. Why are they so fearful of Trump, Musk, and DOGE looking into what has been going on? That shows the Trump team is right over the target.
