Catherine Herridge Drops the Receipts on Why MSM Is Losing It Over X and Elon Musk

We've seen regular mainstream media losing their minds when it comes to Elon Musk.

I wrote about the meltdown that a CNN panel had with him being at Mar-a-Lago for Thanksgiving. It was next-level nuts, with one panelist calling it "creepy." "This is scary stuff," she claimed, saying Musk had no business having any government contracts.

As we reported, the Axios CEO freaked out about Musk, saying that X was the media now.

Imagine MSNBC talking about anyone else lying. No self-awareness as to why they are not trusted and why they are losing viewers. The mainstream media is imploding, and they know it, and they're going out kicking and screaming in the process.

As our sister site Twitchy reported, former Fox and CBS investigative reporter Catherine Herridge laid out the facts. This is the real reason they're flipping out about X and Elon Musk.

Herridge said there was "no question that X was the platform with the greatest reach."

“The data doesn’t lie,” she said as she explained how she'd take the "30 million engagements on @X versus 4.5 million “viewers” on Network Evening News" because "@X is where the growth is. That's where the diverse audience is."

“I feel like this is the next chapter for media,” she said, summing up the whole issue.

Indeed, she proves it herself with her own trajectory. That's why she's there on X, rather than signing up for another network news job after her parting ways from CBS. And she's still calling out CBS for not releasing the transcript of the interview that "60 Minutes" did with Kamala.

Musk helped make it all possible by freeing X more and encouraging independent media. With X, he's then able to immediately weigh in on what Herridge said.

With X, you can see the videos and you can see the story without having to be filtered through the spin of the MSM media. You can have millions of people immediately viewing something. You can decide what you think about it all by yourself.

There's no longer control of the narrative, and that's what they truly fear.

That's a great thing for freedom.
