I think the recent polls are starting to show that Kamala Harris' plan to slide by on vibes and "joy" may be failing; that, unsurprisingly, people expect more from a presidential candidate.
People want answers and they're not getting them from Harris. They got an Oprah event with celebrities. They got Harris cackling her head off. But what they didn't get were specific plans. What they haven't gotten from Harris while she was in office is results. So she can go on about "joy" but all she's brought has been pain so far for most people.

So it made sense that when a Harris surrogate, Democratic strategist Kelly Hyman, appeared on Fox on Monday, that host Sandra Smith would ask her what Harris' "plan" was to lower prices.
"There’s a lot of aspects to it in regards to looking at in online," Hyman says.
Let’s talk about lowering the grocery costs because that’s something that’s brought up. The viewers can look at this online. She talks about certain things in regards to advancing the first federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries to set clear rules to the road to make it clear that big corporations can’t unfairly exploit consumers as well.”
So Smith asks the follow up question all the media should have been asking when Harris throws this out there, "Is that happening?"
Hyman continues to spew, and Smith tries again. "But that price gouging, is that currently happening?" Smith presses.
That's when Hyman implodes.
“In regards — I don’t know exactly if that’s currently happening or not because I’m not privy to that type of information but the people are costing a lot of money in regards to groceries.”
Oh my. You can see Smith blinking at that and saying, "Okay." She probably didn't expect such a complete failure of an answer.
If Hyman is not "privy to that type of information" and doesn't know, why is she acting as though it's a fact? If you can't even say price gouging is happening, why is Harris coming up with this plan? We all know — to deflect from her own responsibility in driving inflation up. Does Kamala Harris know what causes inflation? That it was made worse by her green lighting more spending with her tie-breaking vote on legislation?
But then it got worse.
Smith said that it seemed like Hyman was having a hard time articulating Harris' plan.
"That's not true," Hyman protested. "Please...I'm constantly being interrupted by you which as a woman I think is disrespectful. When I'm trying to speak, every time I try and speak you speak over me."
Smith said she'd given her a lot of time, then gave her time for a "final thought."
Hyman just says, "Thank you for having me."
Smith can't quite believe it, saying she was giving her more time, and then she finishes.
I think it's fair to say that went horribly wrong for the Harris side. To be fair to Hyman, she didn't have a lot to work with, because once you start plumbing for substance from Harris, there isn't a lot there. So anyone trying to answer would likely come up empty. But then to try to suggest Smith is being disrespectful to her as woman is just a nonsensical cope for giving such a terrible answer.
The whole episode just typifies how bankrupt the Harris team is with their "plans." If you can't even justify what you're saying, why are you saying it? And why should anyone vote for you?
